I love books, but I find it hard to fork out $30 for a book. I read too many for that to be an affordable option.
So as well as shopping online I've turned to second hand books, and it's great to find a family-owned place like Chapter Two Books. Kate and Nick are really lovely, and on the weekend you might find one of their kids helping out by adding up the price of your books or counting your change.
It's a really small store, so it's impressive what they manage to fit in it. There are cook books, history books, kids novels, modern literature, all the classics, and so much more.
It's a great spot to just browse, but chances are you won't be able to resist buying at least one book.
Plus, I love that they have EFTPOS, something not all second hand bookstores need to have. read more
