    Matcha Latte

My review is solely on the Iced Matcha Latte. Although the color of the matcha looked promising , the taste was not, it honestly just tasted like straight milk. It was also grainy and it probably just needed to be whisked a bit longer. I can definitely see this cafe thriving if they get better quality matcha or if they try a different recipe. However, I think they focus mainly on their coffee so I'll be back to try something different. Overall the space inside is pretty spacious and the workers inside were friendly.

Their avocado Spam/Hawaiian sandwich is the bomb! Look at that cheese pull!

So this place is a sequel or something!? OKAY! Love the time jump! Chapter II Coffee is a small, random coffee joint that has such a variety of drinks and coffees that are cold or hot to choose from. Parking can be a toss up around here. Basically, try to come when you think it won't be busy because it IS at a consistently busy part of Long Beach. So..this place is your standard coffee spot, BUT what made me give this place 5 stars isn't just the cool decorations with plants and books, (They got random plants and books like Swamp Thing's house if he fought for education) not just the amazing Spanish Latte that the cool Filipino servers recommended to me, BUT ... their ALL DAY BREAKFAST menu!! Why!? Because breakfast food rules any damn time! On top of that fact, this place touches my cultures and my heart because man.... they make a damn good Hawaiian Spam Sandwich/Sliders with one hell of a cheese pull! Bruh.. and they add some damn avocados on it to where it feels like an Islander's avocado toast, but with actual protein from the cheese and Spam! I am definitely coming back to try their other breakfast sandwiches like their croissant sandwiches, as well as their other drinks that I haven't tasted yet! Their workers are all so nice, pretty and welcoming too, with phenomenal customer service; for reals. This place is a sequel that actually kicks ass!

The best things about this coffee shop is location, prices and beautifully presented drinks. 2nd street is a prime location, but it also has some tough competition. This was my 1st time to this establishment. I wanted to order something customized, and the lady assisting initially said it couldn't be done, but then called over another employee who said sure. The drink was layered nicely. It looked beautiful. Unfortunately, I found it to be watery. Also, it was served room temp, although over ice which cooled it off once it started to melt. Lastly, it was a bit bitter even after mixing. For an area full of competition, this was just ok.

Was in the area to work out and stopped by to get my morning cup of coffee. It was early enough that I was able to find parking upfront, which is rare for Belmont. The place was packed, which is always a good sign. People enjoying the outdoor seating as well as plenty of people inside visiting or working on their laptop. Walked in and was greeted right away. Having never been there I asked the barista for some recommendations for something that was sweet, but not overpowering. He made some really good suggestions and I ended up going with one of their seasonal coffees. I sat at their little bar area while i waited for my coffee. The vibe was really chill, which is nice because a lot of the other coffee shops in Belmont can be a little too trendy. The coffee was amazing. Just the right mix of sweet. I will definitely be back to try some of their other coffees and one of their breakfast which looked really good, but I had already made breakfast plans with a friend

Cool place in 2nd street. Decent coffee and great vibes. They have some healthy food options and pastries. I always walk by this place and have been here a few times. This time we hade Americano and split an avocado toast on sourdough. Two sandwiches with nice tomatoes on top. They were very nice and they prepped the food quickly for us. Will definitely come back but still two coffees and a sandwich for $27 including tip is still on the high side. But on the other hand all places seem to be pretty expensive nowadays.

    Yum on 2nd Street!!

This spot is precious! So cute! I felt so cool sipping my yummy Iced Cookie Butter Oatmilk Latte with cookie crumbles on top! There are knooks to read, work or chat. Awesome art and decor too!

    Ube Latte & Spanish Latte

Before starting our day in Long Beach, we needed our usual coffee fix. We stopped by Chapter 11 Coffee for a drink and a bite to eat. I ordered a Spanish latte, which was delicious! it had plenty of cinnamon, which I love. My boyfriend got an ube latte, which he also enjoyed, but between the two, the Spanish latte was definitely the winner. I had the Supreme Croissant, which comes pretty stacked, and it was so good, it definitely hit the spot. My boyfriend ordered the Hawaiian Spam breakfast (or at least I think that's what it was called), and he really enjoyed it. Overall, if I'm ever in the area again, I'll definitely add this spot to my rotation. (Street parking available.)

been wanting to try out this coffee shop for a few mos now.. none of their coffee selections were standing out.. i decided on the strawberry matcha ($7) with oat (+$0.95) my order was ready fairly quickly, it sure was pretty but it was just okay.. i had higher hopes a few seating options inside and bar style with high tops chairs outside. not sure if there is another entrance in order to be ADA compliant, but the entrance on 2nd has stairs.. parking: metered lots or metered street parking. you can drive further down the streets and park in the residential area as well.

8/23/25 Surprisingly the hot oatmilk latte was decent! Service was kind & accommodating, the place is small, quaint & clean. Got my iced drink at Philz a few blocks away but they don't do lattes, sad. Hubby wanted to give Chapter II a try. They proudly serve Rosa Parks coffee. The beverage was made expertly & quickly. Ahh, a proper oatmilk latte! My phone died, hence the limited photos. I returned to request to use their landline coz Hubby just dropped me off & I didn't know where he parked. What a nice guy! And for that they easily earned a 5 star, well deserved & great latte, too. Thanks Chapter II

STEPH JUDGEMENT: Nice atmosphere, drinks, and service. A friend and I'd been curious about this place so decided to pay a visit on a weekday afternoon. It wasn't busy, with just a few people in the store, which was fine with us. The ambiance was cute, clean, and comfortable--kind of homey. My friend got their Black sesame iced latte, which she really enjoyed, and I got the Vietnamese iced coffee, which tasted as it should. We spent a good long while chatting over our drinks and were not made to feel unwelcome doing so. It's the kind of place where you can relax with your drink, with a good amount of seating and tables if you wanted to work.

I love a good Spanish latte and Chapter II coffee makes a very good one! I recommend getting it with less cocoa powder or even axe it all together. Either way it's delicious if you like sweet coffee!

Visiting during Long Beach Dragon Boat Festival at the Marine Stadium. No coffee vendors and needed some coffee so went looking and came upon this roaster. Ordered Spanish Latte $6.00 espresso, cocoa powder, cinnamon and steamed milk. It was delicious but got too sweet when I had about 1/3 left. Wished I had more coffee to finish it. The barista was super nice and helpful.

Met some friends here for a nice Macchiato to keep me up for a while. The nice thing about this coffee shop is that it's a Mom and Pop business so they have a few extra things that others do not have--nice selection of Pastries, Sandwiches, and Drinks. Chapter 2 is small but so much fun. Today was a busy day here and every table was taken, it was a fun nightcap for us. They have a small patio area in front if you like outside seating to enjoy the view. Charming and fun Coffee hangout.

I was also greeted as soon as I walked in, and the staff was quick to start taking my order and directed me to the burrito menu. I did have to take a moment to look over everything, but service overall was friendly and attentive. The coffee was actually pretty good, priced around $2.99-$3.99 with a few creamer options. As for the food, the burrito itself was okay--good, but nothing extraordinary or better than what you could make at home. It comes with meat, egg, cheese, salsa, and additional add-ons like potatoes and extra cheese are charged separately. My main concern was the condition of the space: it felt very cluttered, with items stacked everywhere and a noticeable lack of cleanliness that made it hard to overlook. While the atmosphere and convenience have their appeal, I would rate the experience a 3.2 out of 5 overall, mainly due to cleanliness concerns and the food not quite living up to the hype. Total $18 large coffee no refills and the burrito pretty pricey

If you like fresher, brighter tuna instead of rich and gloopy, this one is worth a try. Caprese - Super fresh and creamy and the ingredients themselves were on point. That said, it was missing a bit of seasoning a simple hit of salt, pepper, or some Italian seasoning would've taken it from "good" to "great." Turkey Sandwich - This was just a really good turkey sandwich. Simple, classic, and well executed. Definitely our #2 favorite so far. BLT - Our biggest miss. For such an iconic sandwich this version felt a little too basic and underwhelming compared to everything else we tried. Chicken Parm - A great option when you're in the mood for something hot and comforting. The sauce and cheese combo hit the spot and it was a fun switch up from the cold sandwiches. This lands at #3 on our list. Italian Sandwich - The star of the show. Perfect balance of flavor and acidity with all the right textures going on. This is hands down our #1 sandwich here and the one I'd recommend first if it's your first visit. On top of the sandwiches their chip selection is FIRE tons of fun options that make it feel like you're building a full snack experience not just grabbing a quick bite. The drink selection is solid too and I've got to give extra love for having sparkling apple juice as an option. Little things like that make it stand out. Service has been consistently chill and low key on all three visits nothing over the top but friendly enough and they get the job done. Overall as a sandwich stand Potato Chips Deli deliver good quality ingredient, a couple of standout sandwiches (get the Italian!), fun chip and drink choices, and casual no frills vibes. Still a little room for refinement (seasoning on some sandwiches, more exciting BLT), but we'll definitely keep coming back to work our way through the menu it's 4 stars from us.
