A fairly easy hike (with lots of the path a boardwalk) with lots of good photo opportunities around a saltwater/freshwater estuary, and a 2- to 3-hr hike along shoreline and through woodland. When I was there, best I could tell, I and my friends were the only people on the trail so nice and quiet.
Worth hiking to the observation tower for a up-high view of the woodland and ocean.
During the hike, check out all the wood birdhouses along the path - why so many? Seems like there are plenty of places in the woods for the birds to build a home.
