    Egg roll
    Miguel A.

The egg rolls are the best tasting near by suburbs. Their food is so good it has a great taste. I ordered sesame chicken and a sesame beef. I also ordered bbq fried rice, egg rolls, kung pow chicken and yang chow wonton soup. To start of the Yang chow wonton soup is the best tasting soup with some white pepper and soy sauce. It has bbq beef, chicken, shrimp, wonton, hard boil egg cut in half, pea pods, watercress, carrot and mushrooms it so delicious it a must try. They have the best egg rolls here. Ask for their house hot mustard and sweet and sour it amazing. The sesame beef and sesame chicken is also very good and we love this dish here. It is served with broccoli and it a decent portion. The kung pow chicken is spicy but to a level you can handle. It has green and red peppers with peanuts, chicken and I believe onions and red dry pepper which is so flavorful and delicious. This is a hidden gem in Elgin. You can dine in, they have a couple booths and tables. The service is great and Michelle will take great care of you.

Not good food. Salty, burnt, yuck. This place is kind of racist just because of how generic it is

Excellent egg foo young. I don't usually order egg foo young at other Chinese restaurants, but I always order it at Chan's.

The heat is layered and intentional, and even the small detail of the hot pepper garden behind the restaurant adds to the sense that the kitchen genuinely cares about its craft. The only hesitation is the pricing, which trends noticeably high. Still, when the food carries this much flavor and character, it's easier to understand where the value comes from.

This spot is not much for ambience inside or outside but on the day of my visit they had brisk takeout and the dining room was packed...real quick. I'm sure a lot of folks go here for the Chinese menu items but I was there for the Lao goodies! They did not disappoint! We had the fried meat balls; a mixed app plate with chicken wings, Lao sausage, and beef jerky; lap beef; and a healthy serving of sticky rice (ok maybe we had 2 to sop up the lap beef). Flavors were on point. Medium spice had us excited and rolling at the same time as it got spicier throughout the meal for the lap...but it was so good! I can't wait to go back and try more! Service was friendly and attentive. Parking was easy since they have their own lot.

Placed an order online and will say absolutely disappointed with my order and service…read more Upon arrival the wait was short. I paid automatically with a credit card. Then my food is brought out but before I can leave I'm told that they made a mistake on line with pricing and I owe them $0.75 more which I did not care and gave them $.08 but I wonder if they owed me the $.75 if they would be so willing to give it back to me. Then the owner comes out and starts taking my food out. If you place an order $50 or more you get an appetizer for free. our previous visit they forgot it and we were told the next time when we place an order to remind them and they will give us one. So since this order was over $50, I got one appetizer for free plus the appetizer that they forgot about last time. The owner comes out and starts digging out the additional appetizer. You only get one you only get one. Which I nicely explained to her that they owed us two. Very unpleasant woman. But the disappointment comes when I get home and opened all of the containers. Mongolian beef was horrible. It's called Mongolian beef because it's supposed to have beef . The dish is 90% onion couple noodles throw in and a little bit of beef ....just horrible. Same thing with other two meals where you had majority of vegetables and no meats or shrimp. Very disappointed with the order. They are becoming hidden and miss restaurant. You never know if you're gonna get a good order or a crappy order like we got today.
