The place was plenty big for 6 people. It was very clean. We loved the pier and the pool. We usually stay right on the beach when we go to the beach, but watching the huge ships go in and out was a fun change. We saw dolphins out by the pier multiple times. It wasn't far from the beach. We rented a golf cart, so the trip to the beach was a breeze. It was located near lots of restaurants and shops, so there was always something to do. We would stay here again. read more

We rented Condo Unit 211 and it was fantastic! The living room (which was huge) over looked the shipping channel and you could sit and watch the many ships going in and out of the channel. The fishing pier was visible to us as well so we could let the grandsons go down and fish anytime they wanted. The condo was super clean and the appliances were nice. The pool and area surrounding it was very clean and manicured. Only drawback was you had to climb 3 flights of stairs every time you went somewhere. We will definitely be back. read more

Channel View Condominium - Overlooking an hip channel and fishing pier - Port Aransas, Texas

The condo was great. BUT, they need to do something about the porpoise that ruined our pier fishing for the 2 nights stayed there. It ate and scared all the game fish for 6 hours both nights. Fishing was terrible. read more

Never. EVER. Again. This is definitely one of those "I wish I could give this place 0 stars" situations. I think, perhaps, I was unprepared for the "clientele" at this establishment (and Port Aransas in general). I do my fair share of partying (and then some), but anyone thinking of staying here should know that this place is not a quiet, family-friendly getaway. Highlights include: - For a large part of my 3-day stay there was an overwhelming stench of marijuana. - I was awoken at 4:30am by someone in the condos blasting AWOLNATION's "Sail" and screaming very loudly. A better song choice may not've made me so angry. - The entire facility is dirty and extremely dated. - The elevator does not work. My parents booked this condo, otherwise I would've left without looking back, cancellation fee and all. read more

We have stayed here at least once a year for over 10 years. We've never had an issue and everyone is so friendly and kind. Fishing wasn't that great but we blame Dolly (recent storm) for that. Stayed in a different condo and we loved the upgrades in this one. Family friendly fun only draw back....cannot bring our dog. Thanks for another great visit!! read more
