I worried they would pressure me to take needless drugs because they viewed 1 as not enough. As for the other nurse, she needs to listen and learn. I told her that 50 years of psych drugs had not shown me any drug that cured my sleep disorder. I backed up my view by telling her a neurologist told me there is no cure for Delayed Sleep Phase Disorder. Yet she told me her ordinary psych drugs would help. She mentioned that I might need evaluation by a sleep clinic, unaware that I've tried 2 and concluded they mostly are there to help sell sleep apnea machines. In a sense, I told her "Been there done that." Finally, I told them that I'd go elsewhere for a prescriber. I didn't yell or curse, but they or someone said I'd been "abusive". What a fashionable word. No person at Bridgehaven inquired of me regarding this alleged abuse. Bridgehaven just stopped returning my calls and then told me my case had been closed because I quit coming. Well, I thought I needed appts with the therapist to be coming there, and she did not return my calls. If I had a memory lapse and should have just been showing up, Bridgehaven should have called and touched base with me before CLOSING my file. Was I blackballed because I doubted the expertise of the nursing staff? In summary, I not only felt the nurses' knowledge lacking, but that they might be resistant to learning from patients.

I loved TGC when I first started being seen. Once Jerri left I was assigned Dean Obrian. He is the…read moreworst. Doesn't listen to what the patient needs and then lies about it. My first appointment with Dean, I told him I didn't want any more medication. At this point I was already on 6. By the end of that appointment, I unwillingly accepted him putting me back on Vraylar, although he would not listen to me when I stated my insurance didn't cover it and I didn't qualify for the discount plan. Dean told me he would find a way to consistently get me the med. EVERY appointment teeny I had with him thereafter was him trying to push me off samples and onto a prescription of it. MULTIPLE times I had sent him screenshots of the discount program rejecting me as a participant. He didn't care. When I ran low on samples, I would call Kim on the med line, leave a message and she would call me back and let me know some where available to pick up. Well, after 2 messages and no call back, I assumed they were avoiding me and giving me the meds. Dean had the BALLS to lie to me and say that he always put the samples up there without me calling. This had never been said to me. He said to call when I was out. At my last and final appointment I was furious with Dean for bringing up the prescription plan again. I have been over a week with out this med, detoxing from it and furious. I will admit I did raise my voice, but that's because he wouldn't let me talk. I had tried to explain how empty I felt and the suicidal ideations coming and going because of no longer being on this medicine. Mid breakdown he tells me that he can't help me and is terminating me as a patient and HANGS UP ON ME!!! Now, if you work in an industry with mentally ill people, 1- shut up and listen for once. 2- work with them, listen to them and help them. Telling someone who is suicidal that "you can't help them" and hanging up on them is not ok. I will be honest, if my husband and kids weren't home, Dean WOULD'VE been the one to push me to suicide. Would NOT recommend this establishment to anyone.

I really like Myron because, at least for me, he approached my illness like a case to be solved, like he'd be disappointed in himself if he didn't get to the bottom of it.
