Working in this area for many years, I remember this store as being a jewelry store when those were more prominent in the neighborhood. In the past two years, most of them are now closed with mainly one dominant business across the street.
I walked into this store after seeing an item that I wanted to buy as a hot pot and soup ingredient. After grabbing a bag of this (https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?userid=saJuyv784apZzH--psHZ3Q&select=ev4enCxxD1hY5_otPGYZjQ), I asked about rice noodles and the cashier left the counter and grabbed a bag (https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?userid=saJuyv784apZzH--psHZ3Q&select=6wbT0tI6BIMPX2ssDj6TjA) from the shelf for me. This was my 1st time shopping here so I looked around the store and noticed that they mostly had dry goods including ginseng and other cooking ingredients and herbs. They also sell a variety of Chinese medicinal products.
The store, given its size, is limited in the items that they sell but, on this visit, I was glad to find what I needed at a reasonable price. read more
