Has a lot of character, but also has modern touches such as internet access. Staff here are very friendly and helpful - not long ago they were still issuing tickets for books rather than using barcodes on cards, but they have updated now and as the library never seems to be overly busy, you can be in and out fairly quickly. Main problem is parking as there doesn't seem to be any nearby, and on corner of busy road so difficult to be dropped off.

Also has number of computers with access to the internet and study area. Has a good selection of DVDs and CDs as well as audio books. The computers always seem to be in use, so unless you're prepared to wait around until one becomes free, don't bank on being able to use one. There's a limit of 2 hours use of computers a day though but as there are only around 10 pcs it's unusual to walk in and find one available.

There are a few computers that you can use and access the internet for free. They are normally in use when I go and so you have to wait a while until one is free. Some of the staff are friendly but others aren't so friendly. There is only space for one or two cars to park for free outside but there is another car park not too far away that is pay and display.

They always have plenty of books for all ages and lots of DVDs to hire out for rainy Sunday afternoons. The staff are very friendly and helpful and they try very hard to find what you are looking for. They have some very comfy seats and a little drinks machine so you could well spend an afternoon there. They also do activities on certain days of the month.

Nice staff who are very helpful about showing you how the machines, pc's and file systems work. Don't bring much with you as you need to leave your belongings in a locker and anyway all you really need is a pad with the names and dates you are researching on and a pencil (no pens allowed inside!)
