This is a terrible place to live. The staff work hard and try their best, with a skeleton staff, to take care of the residents. Jackie Payne, the administrator, is not liked by staff or residents, for the most part. She has little compassion, or understanding for the residents. During the current situation, Jackie Payne did not have all of the procedures in place to prevent a Covid 19 from coming into the building. New residents are not expected to quarantine for two weeks, like all of the other retirement homes and LTC homes. She only gives staff one mask per day to wear in and out of everyone's rooms. She gives staff the cheapest gloves to wear, despite being asked for more protective gloves during this time. We were so unhappy with our treatment and my mom's treatment by Jackie, that we have moved to her to another home. We finally feel that she is safe. read more
