Since moving to Genius Kids, we've seen a noticeable difference in his development. The way he communicates now has improved so much. He speaks in clear, structured sentences, and his confidence in expressing himself has grown. It's been such a joy for us and even his grandparents to see this change. He genuinely enjoys going to school, has made some lovely friends, and absolutely adores his teachers. He often talks about them at home, which says a lot about the kind of environment they create. We also really appreciate the effort the school puts into activities and celebrations. Even though our son attends part time, they still make sure he feels included. For example, they save goodies for him so he does not miss out. That kind of thoughtfulness really stands out. Overall, it has been a great experience. The teachers, management, and overall environment have been wonderful. I would definitely recommend Genius Kids to any parent considering a preschool or daycare for their child.

Can't say enough good things about them, they really took good care of our kid and improved on several aspects of his behavior, potty training, and tracing, getting him ready for Transitional K (TK). The teachers are very kind and patient with the kids and very family oriented and understanding of different families situations. Tuition is also reasonable. Highly recommend for 2+ and older.

Tahira and the staff are caring, patient, and attentive to each child's needs. We've noticed tremendous growth in learning and communication, especially in recognizing new alphabets, numbers, songs, and simple words. We truly appreciate the love, attention, and dedication the staff shows every single day.

My son started going at the age of 2 and i am so blessed that i found this day care .The way my son adjusted in just one week it was beyond my expectations. The meals are provided , kids have lots of toys to play, their outdoor play area is secured and child proof and learning is good . It's been a year my son is already familiar with numbers , alphabets , colors etc. Ms Tahira ensures to provide safe and healthy environment for all the kids and the best part is she keeps us posted with kids pictures everyday for all day long. I bet no other day care does that . My elder daughter went to different day care and it was really good but cant beat the experience i am having with Ms Tahira's services. The best part for me is the flexibility of timings .I am a stay home mom and i didn't want a 9-5 strict drop off and pick up hrs for my child, i wanted to keep it easy going and flexible timings for him and this day care really aligned with my need. I inform Ms Tahira every morning what time i am bringing him in and it works so smoothly for me. She is really understanding and attentive towards a child need. The last thing is the value for money you pay here is more than you can get in the bay area. The staff is really nice and caring too. For my son its a home away from home. Would highly recommend to anyone who is looking for a home based day care with a home like care.

If you choose to take a tour you will see current children in their natural environment. Ms. Doan and her amazing staff are kind, caring, enthusiastic, and always find a lesson to teach with every dynamic interaction or situation. We transitioned from a large daycare center to Nest when our daughter was almost 2, and we have been so happy with the level of care and the thoughtfulness of the curriculum at Nest. We love all of the teachers, and our daughter especially LOVES Co Doan! Doan has helped us with so many big milestones over this past year (napping issues and potty training to name a couple!). We look to her as a trusted advisor in our daughter's development. We also love that the children get ample outside time, reading/learning time, and arts time! They even get to pick berries and tomatoes from Doan's garden in the summertime! How awesome is that. We are so grateful to be a part of the Nest family. Thank you, Nest!!!

Everyday, she wakes up so excited to go to school, all 3 of the teachers in the class are not only amazing but my daughter is so comfortable around all of them, and they let her express herself to the fullest. From the sports activites to educational to field trips everything has been so incredible here. It is organized, fun, informative and they will always keep you updated about your kids. They even have my daughter eating foods she had never tried before and now loves! It will always have a special place in my heart. This reassured me that I can easily reach out to them if I had any questions. Even though my son does not start until March 2025, I believe he will be in a safe place. The whole preschool is gated and requires a pin lock to enter. They also use the Procare app to send updates about your child throughout the day. I decided on this preschool mainly due to location. They're about average price compared to others. I'll update this review once my attends and how his experience is. :) I'm sure he will love it.

I wrote a review and added it to Yelp/Google. Way to make it sound like it's my life's mission to take them down by any means necessary. Thanks for the laughable attempt to gaslight me yet again. And how interesting that hours after I post my review, 2 people who list their location as SJ and Fremont, with only reviews for those areas, post reviews raving not just about GK, but specifically the owners? BLATANT LIARS. The trend you will see from the owners here is that they will deny issues, lie about what happened, lie about rectifying issues, but ultimately do absolutely nothing to address any problems. Screen-time: I have never heard of a daycare that utilizes screen time. That should have been the first red flag. I see another review here that calls them out on it and someone from Genius Kids lies (they do that a lot) and denies it flat-out. The Genius Kids Brochure lists that screen time is used (Picture attached), but it says that only Little Einstein Videos are shown, and that screen-time does not start until 5 pm, which we didn't think would matter since we pick-up before then, but I picked my son up at 4:30 one day and found the children sitting and watching Baby Shark on a tv. I emailed the owner and explained that my son has extremely limited screen-time, and when he does get screen-time he only gets educational and low-stimulating shows like Daniel Tiger, Peppa Pig, or Miss Rachel. I pointed out that screen time was not supposed to start until 5 pm and she assured me she would talk to staff, but it continued to happen consistently and her response was simply "Tell me if it happens again," and nothing would change. My son came home singing Cocomelon songs and talking about cartoons we have never even heard of and absolutely would not approve of. The children were watching YouTube videos when we picked him up between the hours of 4:00 and 4:30 pm more times than I can count. Please talk to other parents whose kids have gone here and they can confirm the children watching mindless youtube videos before 5 pm. Daycare costs way too much to have them just plop our children down in front of a screen and rot their brain. Toileting: One day we picked our son up and noticed he had been left in the pull-up he wears at nap-time (it had been several hours since nap and no one had noticed it or taken it off). We let it slide, but another day we were told our son had an accident. I sent a message asking for more information because it was concerning to have an accident after so long without one, and I got a message that it happened before nap-time. However, mixed in with his wet clothes was a wet school bedsheet, which lead me to understand that he didn't have an accident before nap, the staff forgot to put him in a pull-up for nap-time and he peed while sleeping, resulting in a wet sheet and clothes and then LIED ABOUT IT. Sunblock: One day my son came home clearly sunburned. Genius Kids requires all children to be sent to daycare with sunblock because they claim to put sunblock on children before outdoor time every day. The next day at drop-off, my husband talked to the owner and pointed out that our son was sunburned. The owner told him that we should put sunblock on him before we drop him off. Sunblock does not last all day! It needs to be reapplied every 2 hours AND immediately before being outside, which is why we assume they require children to provide their own sunblock in the first place. Refusing to take accountability and trying to shift blame onto us was appalling. Any one of these issues would be cause for serious concern, but shockingly, this isn't even close to all of the troubling incidents we experienced at Genius Kids (consistently spelling his name wrong on all of his work, when they were supposed to be teaching him to recognize and spell his super common and easy to spell name). The site is clearly understaffed and the staff they have seriously lack proper training. I refuse to allow Genius Kids to hinder my son's development, neglect, or mistreat him and I would encourage any parent to steer clear of this place. Also, please check out their insane list of violations on the department of social services website. I wish I had seen all these before sending my son there: https://www.ccld.dss.ca.gov/carefacilitysearch/FacDetail/434413902 Facility Number: 434413902

We have always found all staff warm and welcoming towards our family and our daughter for the last two+ years (her stay from age 2-4). She has thrived in this nurturing environment, and I can see the positive impact it has had on her social and emotional development. She has done soccer, kung fu, performing art, and piano lessons. This has allowed her to try many new things and grow with her community. The curriculum is well-rounded, incorporating play-based learning that keeps the kids engaged and excited about coming to school every day. My husband and I were both impressed by the security upon entering the facility. The staff greeted us warmly and confirmed we were there for a schedule site tour. They also told us they have live security cameras available to parents. Their approach to caring for the children perfectly balances personal growth and education, and we saw this in action as the nurturing teachers assisted the children. The classrooms were clean and organized, with ample sunlight. The outdoor play area was top notch, with a shaded play structure and lots of room to run. Additionally, we toured during lunch time and the provided lunches looked fresh, healthy and something even our picky eater would devour. We are looking forward to being a part of Kiddie Academy and the welcoming community they have created for the children and their families.
