The questioning took her by surprise, before she could respond she was questioned again about the shirts. Being accused of stealing in front of other customers is humiliating and unprofessional. This store has been a go to for us for over ten years, they have lost a customer for life. If you are going to shop here with clothes you purchased from them in the past, carry your receipt. This place isn't what it used to be.

It is part of All Saints Episcopal Church Community Outreach program. The volunteers are always so welcoming and friendly. The shop is well laid-out for men's women's and children's clothing. Everything is clearly marked and sized. I was surprised that the day I visited: everything was half price - a really welcome surprise. I found two lovely blouses and a pair of walking shoes - all for $3.00. The shop is open on Thursday and Friday from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM and Saturday from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM. If you are in the area, do stop in and support their outreach program.

Full of singing bowls, wishing boxes, tarot and oracle cards, books by Wayne Dwyer and other amazing Hay House or spiritual realms. It is a TINY little store on the right hand side of a coffee shop. Don't let the small store fool you however as it is FULL of items. Clothing (sarongs, long hippie skirts and more), Jewelery (beautiful crystals and various other yoga/modern hippie inspired pieces) and so much more. (Something the other businesses in Wolfeboro haven't learned is that the tourists still want to spend money after five o'clock!) Open seasonally, Mountain Tops is located right in the center of town by the bridge. It's one of a chain of apparel shops in Maine and NH specializing in humorous or naughty designs. Their sizes range from toddler to 3X. In addition to T-Shirts and sweatshirts, they also offer a small selection of souvenirs. Caveats: During the day it can get *very* crowded and hot in here, and because they are located in a renovated home, like many shops in Wolfeboro they aren't wheelchair accessible. Their sign says 'Custom T-Shirts,' but they don't actually make T-Shirts to order, what it means is that their product is branded with "Winnipesaukee" or "Wolfeboro."

I came three times two stay tuned during my week-long vacation first by myself and each trip after with a new group of people just to show them what kind of place it is. Walking downtown wolfeboro is well worth it but you have to stop in here just to see what they've got and to meet the beautiful wonderful staff I strongly recommend coming here 10 out of 10 if I could do it.

Every time we visit Wolfeboro, we visit Black's Paper Store. It is simply a fun place to explore…read more The selection is great and I love that they carry high quality incense sticks. I found some really nice key rings upstairs on sale and they have made fun gifts for family and friends. My spouse is a librarian and Black's sells a variety of games and toys that add so much to a library. Location is great and even during peak seasons, like spring and summer, we've always found parking within walking distance. The customer service is friendly and helpful and they have some good sales and clearance items too. On our most recent visit on Veteran's Day, we found some winter gloves and a gift for a friend. Thanks for making our visits to town, so much fun!

On a postcard and would change color I BELIEVE from BLUE to an ORANGISH color 'when a change is due'. The Hansel and Gretel Shop carried them as well. I still have some of my Cats Meow wooden 'structures' of Blacks (of course), Julie's Dress Shop, Melvin Village Church and Calefs. It was great fun to go by boat to get the Sunday paper, at LEAST one pack of gum/candy to split between us kiddos and then enough donut holes from the Yum Yum Shop to last the boat ride back to 19 Mile Bay and then MAYBE one bag for family that did not go on the boat ride!! I had a Wolfeboro 'Oldest Summer Resort in America' for years when I lived in SoCal. Blacks was/is a rite of passage for many of us Baby Boomers!!
