Location: Right by the daily market stalls, and not too far from the ocean. It's about a ten minute…read morewalk from the center.
The place: Very simple and cream-coloured. It gave me the impression that it was more for folks of a certain age if you know what I mean. This thought was proven as people started to arrive because I was definitely the youngest person in there! They have several tables and these seem to fill up fairly quickly in the morning. I arrived around 8:30 or so and I'd say by 9:30, it's pretty busy.
The goods: So I went twice. First, for breakfast - I had the English breakfast and it was massive. There was way more food then I expected and this was my first meal post food poisoning so sadly, I couldn't eat everything. There were scrambled eggs, bacon and sausage, two bread pains (pain blanc, pain gris).... I think maybe there was a croissant in there? A whole coffee pot for me, too. The breakfast was OK, but I like my eggs to be cooked more than they were (I think this is a cultural thing - these were too 'juicy'). There was a ton of bacon (note: they don't cook it crispy here) and the sausages were hot dog sausages which I don't eat. Great bread and great coffee. If you're still hungry after that spread, there's something wrong with you!
I returned later for a latté and a pastry and they were delicious. If anything, stop by for an afternoon snack because their pastries are awesome.
Price point: I think breakfast was 19€.
