They even have me a tiny cookie with the espresso, along with a milk chocolate and a little orange taffy. The tables are mostly two person and the atmosphere is casual, though it is a sit down and order from your table kind of place. It's a great little cafe and I would definitely come here again! The service was okay but not outstanding, they mostly do their job and leave you alone, which is fine with me but I was hoping they would offer me another bread when mine disappeared so quickly with the warm soup. Lots of older couples here on a Monday, which is cute. The prices are not bad, 6 euros for soup and espresso. Great location also, close to shops, so a great place to stop for a light lunch if you're shopping.

It gave me the impression that it was more for folks of a certain age if you know what I mean. This thought was proven as people started to arrive because I was definitely the youngest person in there! They have several tables and these seem to fill up fairly quickly in the morning. I arrived around 8:30 or so and I'd say by 9:30, it's pretty busy. The goods: So I went twice. First, for breakfast - I had the English breakfast and it was massive. There was way more food then I expected and this was my first meal post food poisoning so sadly, I couldn't eat everything. There were scrambled eggs, bacon and sausage, two bread pains (pain blanc, pain gris).... I think maybe there was a croissant in there? A whole coffee pot for me, too. The breakfast was OK, but I like my eggs to be cooked more than they were (I think this is a cultural thing - these were too 'juicy'). There was a ton of bacon (note: they don't cook it crispy here) and the sausages were hot dog sausages which I don't eat. Great bread and great coffee. If you're still hungry after that spread, there's something wrong with you! I returned later for a latté and a pastry and they were delicious. If anything, stop by for an afternoon snack because their pastries are awesome. Price point: I think breakfast was 19€.

The only reason I came here was because Maxzim was closed and I was craving for my favorite dessert. - Price/Quality: The only good thing about this, it's only €1,30 for 1 and €2,30 for 2 scoops. - Health: While I chose stevia coffee out of curiosity and to avoid sugar, my brother did go for cookies. So it depends on your choice. - Pleasure: The ice cream was way too hard, but I didn't have the usual sticky feeling after eating it. It was clearly better than other sweetener aspartame but I wouldn't go for it again. My brother was better off in the end but he still wouldn't go higher than 2 on 5. - Quantity: Nothing out of the ordinary. - Variety: Not much flavors to choose from, just the classics. Very green pistache (always a bad sign).
