She stated she would speak with her supervisor about how to get my money back to me and reassured me I would hear from her. it's been almost two weeks. I've left several messages for her and have not gotten any return on my call nor do I have my money she promised me. My return of $1090 is all theirs except $378 they left me. The computer screen said I would get $578 of my return. Being avoided makes them look like they decided to be thieves and keep the money. DO NOT LET THIS HAPPEN TO YOU! GO TO JACKSON HEWITT!!! They know their job and don't steal. I regret coming back to hnr block. I should have walked out when she told me she didn't know how to file for DoorDash and we would learn together. Guess I was ignorant for staying.

However, I only went up there because I am between jobs and it will be at least a couple of weeks before I get another paycheck so I went up there to get a holiday advance. They did my taxes, I signed everything gave me the card that the advance is supposed to go on. He tells me I will get a text within the hour telling me how much I was approved for, it would be between $500 and $1000. I leave and go to my car and get a text saying I was not approved. Now I told the preparer that the exact reason I came to them was to get the advance, never did he tell me that there is a possibility to not get approved. Beyond upset.
