I have called the B of C 4 times and it is disconnected. Are they tired of tourist money?

She took me here with another dogwalker and I've been coming here daily ever since. There isn't much at the actual kill site other than a plaque describing how Ed Lehner in 1952, landowner of this site, who found butchering tools along with tapir, mammoth, bison and horse bones dating 11,000 years ago when Clovis people lived here. There's nothing here now but the plaque on a high spot in the area. It's now used mostly for other things: It's a great place to set up a telescope on a new moon, or a camera tripod for those gorgeous sun rises and sunsets, and moon rises and moon sets. You have a panoramic view of the Huachuca Mountains. About 50 meters east is a trail that locals use for their dogs and horses. It is a perimeter trail that loops around the field. Birders at the nearby San Pedro B&B use this trail along the river early in the mourning and near dusk to spot birds of all kinds. There are harriers that fly over the field looking for a meal. I would not suggest anyone come here after dusk, as it's six miles from the border with Mexico.

There was no attempt I noticed as no one came to the door and nothing in the mailbox (the package was dog vitamins so no signature required thus the inspiration for this original review). After I gave the patient mailman an earful and he was polite to hear me out, he left and about an hour or less later he came back with my package and personally delivered it to my address. Now that is impressive! He said he was actually a supervisor out helping out on the route. I wished I would have asked for his name but he was excellent and made up for the bad experience of a twice delayed package. That is service at its best and I can't say enough about how great that truly is!! If you continue on and read my original review, it shows how I felt like the USPS has completely disintegrated into an almost useless Albatros and the original star rating was 1 star. Now its 5 stars because of that man who heard me out and actually went the extra mile literally to take care of the issue. Thank you Sierra Vista post office supervisor!!! ORIGINAL FRUSTRATED REVIEW: There aren't words to describe how horrible the mail service has been for the past year. Try calling either the local number or the national post office number and you will get only a waste of your time and nothing more. Its a total joke. The automated national system won't take a tracking number despite asking for it and then will not put you through to an agent without one. Locally there is a lengthy voice message about hours, passport info when it does final start to ring no one answers and eventually will time out with a fast busy signal. This is what we pay billions and billions of dollars for each year. WHY????

Not wanting to run into a delay and be late we planned to arrive about an hour before my scheduled time. We made good time on the freeway and arrived at 12:30pm for my 1:40pm appointment. Instead of stopping for lunch before hand, we went straight to the enrollment center, rang the buzzer and asked if by chance they could take me early. The sliding doors opened and we were in the waiting room. That's when we met the voice on the speaker. Agent Ballesteros! He took me right back and made quick work of the interview. He was kind and efficient. I turned over my passport and my Arizona Driver's license showing my current address. He took my fingerprints and had a few questions, mostly to verify the information they had was correct. I received a Global Entry information guide in which my new pre-check number had been written. Then we were done. I thanked Agent Ballesteros for taking me early and we were on our way out. The chairs in the waiting room had a few people in them by then. I'm thinking we must have showed up right at the end of their lunch break. If you're in the greater Phoenix area, don't hesitate to make the drive down to the Tucson Enrollment Center if an appointment time in the Valley won't work for you. Just be aware of the heavy traffic during morning and evening rush hours mostly between Phoenix and Casa Grande. Plan your appointment for a time that allows you avoid rush or come on the weekend and enjoy a nice drive. It's definitely doable and certainly worth the benefits that Global Entry affords us.

Interview spots at Phoenix airport weren't available until a few months later but Tucson location offered a whole lot more including weekend! Parking is available at the short term parking at the airport. Park near the entrance as the Global Entry office is near there. We arrived one hour earlier than our appointment time but they kindly went ahead to process. The whole process was about 5-6 minuets. I thought it took 15 minutes when I originally applied but their process was very quick and efficient. I was thinking did I just drive 2 hours one way for five minutes interview? But considering benefits we get from the membership, it was worths the drive. If you can't get interview in Phoenix, consider Tucson as your alternative.

Ok, see which companies line up to spend hundreds of millions of dollars of capital to lay pipe all over Cochise county, the permits, the road closures, and years upon years of construction because you think they have a monopoly. I have had stellar service every time I dealt with the office in Sierra Vista, this has been over 30 years. The only time people are upset, is because they did not get their way. But behind this is much more than people who dont care, it is regulations, time constraints and they are governed by the Arizona Corporation Commission. You are billed by how much you use, if your use is much higher than previous tenant, they call this to your attention, if you think the cost of Gas is too high call the ACC. When people dont get their way, the employees automatically become rude. This is no way is a reflection on this company.
