My only criticism was that the young girls leading the party were pretty low energy and it was so quiet in there. As my 2 toddlers and baby are walking into to our car, a driver comes flying in off Metcalf and stops right before he's about to potentially hit us. This is one of many, many super unsafe moments from this one week alone trying to get acres to and away for the establishment. It's so incredibly dangerous. My toddlers cried and panicked bc they and myself thought we were just about to get mowed down. It would have been less scary for them if at least this weirdo didn't roll down his window and yell at us pedestrians which consisted of a mother, a baby on a baby stroller and two tiny toddlers. They cried and were once an again scared bc this deranged individual took time to act a fool after the fact. Real shame. Parking is unsafe this is just one of many instances so I'm sharing this since, bc it will mark our last time going here. Too dangerous. Almost needed up as splatter.

I honestly wasn't sure what to expect from an outside nature camp, but pulling up to Ernie Miller each day something that's made really clear from the staff is how dedicated they are to making sure your kids have a fun time all summer long. The camp counselors are super engaging and great with the kids. I love that my kiddo gets to learn about local animals and nature while at Ernie Miller, and also that they go on fun field trips which spice things up each week. Additionally they are on top of weather changes and take the kids inside if there is lightning. I've been watching as a new facility is being built at Ernie Miller and I can't wait to come back sometime when they are done and further explore the nature trails and the new building.

And we were actually the only people on the inside of the nature center, so we got to enjoy it in a peaceful environment. There were some field trip kids having event events outside. My grandson enjoyed exploring, but I was disappointed to see that quite a few of the displays were out of order. Also, I had to tell staff that there was a mouse in bird nature viewing area. A child had left a cracker, and apparently a mouse had gotten in was taking advantage of it! But then I went into the newer section with the displays and another mouse ran out and was running around the room towards my grandson. So I think they need to correct this issue before it gets too out of hand. The trails are great and the natural gardens are as well. They have some great programs for the community. I just think that some of the displays need to be fixed and taking care of the pest problem, I'm sure if they let the hawk in there he would handle it! lol

Our children also celebrated many of their own birthday parties at Elite gymnastics as well. Our son was coached by an excellent swim instructor - our son needed to get ready for his scout swimming test. The Elite instructor had earned his Eagle Scout rank and he was the absolute best advisor and coach our son could have ever needed! Our daughter's middle name is probably "Elite" - she started gymnastics at age 4 and now she is a senior in high school. She has been part of the Elite Gymnastics family all of her life. They are a second family to us in every way. I have taught youth for 28 years, and I confidently believe: This fantastic gymn has the best team of efficient and caring mentors our children needed. The coaches expect the children to excel and encourage them effectively. Our children developed strong self-esteem and self trust while attending Elite Gymnastics and Aquatics.

This gym is more interested in selling classes in addition to the membership. You don't have to…read morejoin the classes, but the problem is when the classes take up all the usable space and members are left with little to none. For example, youth swim lessons and water aerobics take up the entire pool area on Saturdays, making it impossible if you would like to swim laps. "Alpha" fitness classes have two areas that take up a significant portion of the upstairs gym, and they run classes constantly. On top of all this, the equipment that is left for members to use (i.e. benches and machines) are old and falling apart. I personally had a pin slip from an adjustable bench when I had it set to incline for bench press. I fell back with it and chipped my tooth. For the money you pay and for the money they add for extra classes and "events", they should really have better stuff for the general membership. It presents as though little regard is given to the overall members.

I was invited to their auction, Skylines and Sweets, and it was wonderful- although I was surprised it was a dry event. I think people bid more if they've been drinking too. ;) It was fun to learn about all that Camp Fire offers for kids and does for the community.
