It's the perfect place to discover some tranquillity when the hectic hustle and bustle of shopping gets too much. Stepping into Linen Hall is literally like stepping into another world and time. It's only recently I discovered this Library specialises in Irish Studies, Northern Ireland Politics and Theatre and Performing Arts. They also have a general lending section but you have to be a paying subscriber to borrow books. However any member of the public can step into this beautiful building and make use of the space to read, use the coffee shop, view art and just hang out and relax. A lovely place to escape to and its worthwhile keeping an eye on their website for upcoming events and exhibitions.

I had the chance to visit with a few friends for a guided lunchtime tour on Tuesday 5 July 2016. Our tour guide Adrienne was fantastic, walking and talking us around the cemetery which is the oldest Christian burial site in Belfast. From her we heard about the history of Friar's Bush and its residents which span the wealthy and influential through to victims of cholera, plagues and the potato famine. Tales of Grave Robbers and the various superstitions, strange activities and events which have occurred over the centuries ensued. We were all enthralled. This cemetery's a fascinating historical site to visit and definitely one of the best things to do in Belfast. Late night/ ghost tours can be arranged as well which would be wonderful at Halloween. Friar's Bush is usually locked off to the public so you need to book a tour well in advance by contacting Belfast City Council via telephone on 029 9027 0296. A fantastic and interesting place to visit which makes a refreshing change from the norm.

I sent a email enquiry and got a response almost immediately from the manager (Ciaran) advising it would cost £7 per t shirt. I told him we were on a budget and he agreed to do for £6 per t shirt which was great. When I emailed him the image, he redesigned the image so it was better quality (at no extra charge). I collected the t shirts yesterday and was really pleased with the quality - so impressed. I will upload some pictures of the t shirts after the hen party.

I had created the design I wanted printed in PDF format and even though this was completely wrong they spent time correcting the design. This service was second to none. They even gave me a pen drive to I could transfer the design from my laptop - this was the full service. While I stood and waited for my items to be immaculately printed I started thinking that for this level of service I was going to get stung on the price. Once again to my shock getting 2 fabric items printed only set me back £9! While I was in the store, conveniently located on High Street, I noticed they were printing football kits, stag and hen T-shirts, mobile phone covers - pretty much whatever people requested. I have since gone on to quit the job as it was frankly terribly boring( I have worked in shops for over 5 years but being on checkouts the entire time is frankly soul destroying, treat your till attendants with better respect in supermarkets in future!) so I was glad to escape. Regardless of the unsuitability of the role for me, things in this job centre were great. It is a bit basic on the inside but that is more due to the fact that I imagine it is over subscribed in this day and age and understaffed. The staff are helpful and informative and try to maintain a personal touch, and will do their best to help you find gainful employment, which is all that is needed from a place like this. Good job!

Inside is very beautiful layout architecture with a beautiful dome plus plenty of glass windows artwork. Inside the surrounding garden within, there are: Titanic Memorial Garden, Korea War Memorial, Victoria Memorial, Boer War Memorial Royal Irish Riffles, and couple statues on the other side plus city ground for you to seat and admire the city hall.
