Nope. There's a LOT better bobas than this. The only good thing i can say is they have a good service.

WORST BOBA SHOP EVER. The service is INCREDIBLY SLOW they will take 30+ minutes to make a boba. One time I waited in my car for 45 minutes because they forgot to make my order and I had to argue with my receipt before they realized their mistake. This most recent time I ordered 4 drinks, waited 15 minutes, and looked over at the counter and my order wasn't even started. There was NO OTHER GUEST in the shop as well. After taking my order the worker went to the back and did not come back out even when I said excuse me, I had to ring a bell and demand a refund. No EMPTY boba place should make you wait so long without any effort to make your order. Because I didn't expect a few teas to take so long, I ended up late to work. DO NOT COME HERE IF YOU VALUE YOUR TIME AND YOUR TASTEBUDS. The milk tea quality is a little less than average when compared to other places since their milk tea has a strong powder taste and the quality of their tea is not great either. I highly, highly, recommend going literally anywhere else for boba. I will not be returning. read more

quite possibly one of the best simplest green tea with foam i've ever had. it's light with a strong tea flavor, milk is not overwhelming, and less sweet is just right. i don't stumble upon a boba shop that has good tea too often, i'd even say this might be higher in quality than Orobae. don't look past this humble new tea store!! food: 4.5/5, fried well but not extraordinary. a good staple, but for the price would like to get more pieces of calamari. read more

Absolutely love this place! I came in here with my girlfriend to get refreshed after being out on a hot day and Cha2Cha did exactly that and more! I got two of their drinks! One being the michelada looking drink and the other was an orange, tropical type drink that they recommended and both were so good! We both loved the drinks. We also got some snacks which was crazy since most boba/tea shop don't have snacks like these so we got the popcorn chicken and the musubi! So good. We weren't that hungry but we finished both cause they were that good! Highly recommend you go check them out! read more

Decent place! My boyfriend and I stopped by after our workout and got a large blue taro milk tea. The workers were very nice and helpful. I asked what made the taro milk tea blue and the lady at the register told me they used butterfly pea for the coloring! It has a nice initial floral taste before you taste the taro. The cups are also a very decent size. My boyfriend and I couldn't finish it on one go. I subtracted a star because the drink did taste a little powdery and the boba was whatever- it was soft & chewy, but I like honey/ brown sugar boba more. This place used to be Tai Tea.. I first went here last March after walking out of a dinner party lol. The owner of the place was there, she was very accommodating as well as the other store associates; they answered my questions regarding the snacks as I am not familiar of it.. For the drinks there are only 2 sizes, large and giant. And now they finally have an option to place order on Yelp. I will come back here for sure and try more drinks. read more

I was in the shopping plaza and wanted to find the nearest boba shop. Turns out the shop was near the Harvest Fresh Market. The shop is new and still in their soft opening. I wanted something refreshing so I ordered the Passion Fruit Tea with crystal boba. The drink quenched my thirst and pretty good. I was surprised by the drink sizes as they only offer 2 sizes which was large(tall cup) and super large. I was also amazed that they offered a lot of Vietnamese snacks on their menu as well, you don't see this often at boba shops. They offered a variety of Chả(viet pork) which I will definitely try next time. They are in their soft opening so they are offering 30% percent off your order. read more

We had the triple berry, some fried pop corn chicken and sweet potato fries. The chicken was burnt. The triple berry was ok but didn't have fruit on top like they advertised it. My first time here. You have to place your order on the iPad. Wanted to see what the hype was about with this Vietnamese hot dog that they call a Mochi Dog. It cost $5.50. They gave me the cha for free. It was so not worth it. There was no flavor. It tasted very bland. The dipping sauce was like a sweet and sour sauce and it didn't do any justice to make it taste better. I would not order this ever again. So disappointed. read more

They are a friendly family-owned store who makes great Boba drinks, Teas, Smoothies, etc. They have $16.95 special that includes a PROTEIN, CARB, drink. Pretty different kind of menu. Good food, good service! I got the roasted oolong with cheese foam and it was not too sweet. The popcorn chicken and French fries as well. Came out really fast and was crispy. Popcorn chicken is flavorful but we got the spicy flavor and it was not spicy. Basil in the popcorn chicken is not good. The Thai green tea is very fragrant and sweet. I would come again. It's not really near malls or grocery store areas where people walk in and out of quite frequently, however there seemed to be a good flow of customers continuously coming in the shop to order drinks during the time I was there. Also. I wouldn't sat it's too out of thr way from most places in Orange County and it's always good to try something new. I was intrigued by their Taro blue milk tea and have to say ti was quite good. The boba is nice and chewy and it's not honey boba so I got to taste more of the drink which I enjoy. The othet boba drink was a pudding boba milk tea which my friend said was really good. I also tried their fried mochi cause I've heard of fried mochi but never tried it before. Honestly, I wouldn't get fried mochi if you are just by yourself as it's quite filling. The calamari though was crispy and light and is more than enough for one person too. I also tried their flan with boba and while I do think that individually they are both good, I personally wouldn't combine them together because I would want to appreciate each one in its own limelight. (Note there are different kinds of flan and this is the more firm version. I dont like runny flan) Overall the staff was quite nice and I think they did a good job. read more

Loved my experience at Cha2Cha! The boba teas are really good, my fav was the taro lava, which is a blended milky taro drink. It was the perfect amount of sweetness and creaminess! Would definitely go back for this! The classic boba milk tea was also really good! I tried the escargot sticks and popcorn chicken! Two very declines compliments to the drinks! I like this place for their strong Jasmine Green Tea flavor. They're drinks remind me of Happy Lemon because of the solid cheese foam topping. I loved it! The Thai tea boba is also very solid. It reminds me of the Thai tea I get from street vendors in Thailand. Mostly, I love that this restaurant has a lot of selection for delicious Vietnamese snacks! Ordered their fish balls, medium spicy popcorn chicken, and large milk tea with boba. The drink was made well. Note that their regular size drink is equivalent to the large of many other boba places, so their large is much larger than most. Their food was not bad but nothing to write home about. If i had a craving for popcorn chicken and were in the area, i might stop by if nothing better was available. They need to work on their spiciness levels. Just came in today on 4/30 for their grand opening. Walked in the door and the cashier said that they are closed. Yelp said they closed at 11pm and it was 10:05pm. Lots of people were still there, inside and outside the store. Came here for the $1 drinks. Too bad we did not get a chance to try it. read more

The 2 stars are for the ok customer service. The Thai Tea (one of the easiest drinks to make) is so bad and has a weird smell. The passion fruit macaron is $3 for 1 and doesn't even taste like food (dry, hard, weird smell, bad taste, bad appearance, too powdery). Please avoid this place at all cost. read more
