The drink was nowhere near an Old Fashioned despite the upcharge to make it one, and the straw question only made the experience feel more awkward. The whole interaction came across as oddly dismissive toward two women ordering a classic whiskey cocktail. Lastly, while I understand perceptions can vary, the overall presentation at the front of the house was surprising for a Saturday evening. The hostess was wearing what appeared to be lace bike shorts (similar to Spanx shorts) with slide sandals. It left me a bit confused about the image the restaurant is trying to present. There are definitely positives here but the combination of rushed pacing, the bar experience, and the overall presentation left me hesitant about returning. If it matters to the establishment, we were patrons on on March 7th for our wedding anniversary dinner so we were anticipating a more upscale vibe overall and were quite underwhelmed.

This last time I went with a larger group, about 15 people. They gave us the "private" room so we could have conversations comfortably. Our assigned servers were great. Drinks, bread service, water were brought quickly. Appetizers did not take too long either and must say the Octopus and Tuna tacos were amazing! We all selected our dishes, and without any issues, they were all brought out. No one had to wait for anyone's dish to come out, they served everyone at the same time and made sure we all had exactly what we had ordered and needed.
