Overall excellent job - I'm now out of the painting business in my own home. From the beginning Jim helped with color selection and the identification of imperfections that would be addressed. The job included 2 rooms, kitchen hallway, foyer and stairwell. The team completed the first floor the first day - amazing job. And a 2 person team completed the stairwell and landing the next morning. Since we were having the floors sanded and refinished, CertaPro sent their team lead for a day for touch-up from the flooring job. Responding to owner: There were no other contractors in the house. We actually had to push off other work because of how long it took you to poorly "complete" your job. Don't make up false excuses. Take accountability. Also we asked for all wallpaper to be removed. It was you that told us that in some rooms that wasn't necessary. If it was going to look like garbage, like it does, why suggest leaving it? We would have been willing to spend twice the money to have it done right. And yes, we dont want you back in our home after how badly your workers disrespected it. But thanks for your thoughtful response. Your sure put a band aid on that one. read more

Great experience at all levels. Promptly returned my call and set up an appointment to come estimate the job. Quickly provided me with the estimate and schedule a date that was pretty soon, no long waiting. They called me up the next day and said they had an opening that week. They came on time. Everyone was nice and professional. The guys got straight to work, boom two days later the interior of my house was nicely painted. The quality of the painting was fantastic. I will not use them again. The lead painter was rude, they rushed the job and had hidden fees in the contract we didn't know about until the job was done. They also missed several spots on the house both inside and out. We had a whole house paint inside and out. read more

We spent over $12,000 having the interior of our house painted by CertaPro. We had selected a light gray paint from the Sherman Williams samples they left us. The job they did was OK but not great, but that is not the biggest problem. In each bathroom where water has splashed from the sink or from a wet towel onto the paint it has left a streaky stain on the wall which will not come off. Update: I was contacted by Certapro and they came out to look at the problem. They tried using a clean tee shirt and some water to treat the affected area. We agreed to review the results once it dries. They said if necessary they will bring the paint rep out to review. Will update with the outcome. read more

This is an update to my previous review. I had paid $14,000 for Certapro to paint the interior of my house. In every bathroom the paint has run where water has splashed. Their response was to wipe the paint down with a clean cloth and a green cleaning product. Well I am doing another project and showed the problem to the contractor doing the job. I was told they should have primed the walls before applying the paint and I wouldn't have had the problem. I am now paying someone to do the job properly. Needles to say I will never got these guys again, they don't know what they are doing. read more

Good price, lived up to estimate, on time, excellent job, didn't cut corners.

First, I only received an ESTIMATE for a spllit tail fence and a picket fence. I have 10 gallons of paint for the job already. The estimate was almost $13,000. It's not a small fence, but it cost me less to have both fences installed then this price to paint it. I could redue my kitchen or pay for an addition to my house for that amount. Seriously? Among several problems I had with this business, the worst was when the owner (Bob Jamrog) accused me of watching their painter paint the wrong color, apparently with the intent of wasting their time. He never apologized for their staff painting the wrong color, but instead yelled at me because I supposedly allowed this to happen. This was after his team destroyed my screens, agreed to pay to have them replaced, and then went back on his word and forced me to pay for half. Don't waste your time with this business. Use a painter that stands by their word and knows how to treat customers properly. There are business people who are fair, and then there are business people who couldn't care less about anyone but their own money, like Bob Jamrog. Do yourself a favor and avoid the abuse. Horrendous experience. He also treats his employees like trash. read more

Do not use this contractor. He is unproffesional and scams you. Especially when you are nee and moving in. Contracted with for services after doing the work Constantly changing manpower, schedules, at the mercy of them rearranging my schedule paid for project management expedited charges. Went to hunterdon county while he was working on my property charged me who knows he charged them also. No insurance provided requested several times Decided to charge me for work his guys did without my signature or approval in writing. He called me and harrassed me and my husband. He never provided me with the paint receipts i asked at the start of contract my husband asked still we needed to get skim coat and painting done before furniture to move in. After review of workmanship still not completed. He wanted to come back to do. Our contract agreemebt was to get everything done before moving in. I signed a contract for a two coat paint job. One coat was to be rolled and then it was to be brushed. To put it simply they did not do what they promised. They first sprayed and then did not do much else. When the owner came out he said they would take care of it. That consisted of them coming back for less than an hour and putting on some more paint.
