Cepsa "el Pilairillo" station.
All Cepsa stations we visited while driving through Spain, were well-kept and service was great. But at this one, the owner came out and talked to us in Spanish, and was so amazingly friendly and happy. He even gave us a promo calendar and lollipops! So cute!
Service was fast and helpful; prices were good. Conversation was very fun. It pays to learn Spanish, kids. Access to a whole new world!
This guy is lovin' life! He has dog food for sale on the side. He lives in an in-law suite in the station building. He works every single day of the week. And he is one of the happiest souls I've ever met. That's a picture of him, waving his arm in the air, in the calendar photo I provided. He said he could not ask for a better set-up. His view from the station is the second breath-taking view we've seen at a Cepsa; definitely worth stopping to see.
I never had so much fun at a gas station in my life! read more
