I'm almost there with my platinum visit! Give me some movie recs to meet it!
Daniel D.

I didn't realize how spoiled I was with this theater until I've heard how other theaters have their setups. First off, reclining seats. It really is a must to be able to watch a movie comfortably, especially if you're expected to stay seated for at least 1.5 hours. How some people sit upright for longer than that without feeling uncomfortable is beyond me. But props to them. Second off, seat warmers! Dude! This wasn't even something I needed to have for a complete theater experience but it's still a thing. Now my rear end can have all the warmth it needs while it's clenching during horror movies. Third off, so much space! I don't need need to un-recline my chair when people are trying to scoot in front of me because there's so much space! I could do yoga in the middle of the movie without disturbing others! Wow! Fourth, barriers behind some of the rows! I don't have to worry about someone purposefully or accidentally kicking the back of my chair because there is a full on wall behind me. Wow! I can even use my phone without the light from my screen bothering the row behind me! Hypothetically of course because I never use my phone during the movie. Fifth off, staff! They're chill. Had no issues with them whatsoever. They even compensated one of our tickets when the AC was broken in one of the movies. Sixth off, accessibility! I asked for a subtitle device to try it out and it worked like 65% of the time! The other 35% it just straight up froze and it was annoying to angle at just the right point but I like that it's an option. Seventh off, the plaza the theater is situated in has a bunch of other restaurants to enjoy company with either before or after the movie. Totally recommend Cinemark. Especially if you have the Movie Club membership. You can order tickets online with no fee! Even though that should've been a thing in the first place.

Came here early Friday afternoon to watch the Conjuring which sucked in my opinion. Was treated by friendly staff.: The theater was pretty lonely but very clean compared to other Cinemark's. The only issue were the cashier at the concession stand very unfriendly. She seemed annoyed at me asking her to give me a minute to get my rewards on my app. Either way had a great time with my kids. I really enjoyed that they have a tray at your seat and it's heated!

I love this movie theater! The reclining chairs are the best! They are so comfortable and roomy. You just can't find better anywhere! I went to see Ballerina. It was good. Ballerina was a very long movie, and I was comfortable the entire time. The seats have heaters too. Plus they have the air conditioning blowing! Sweet! It's always clean. The snacks and food are decent. I love grabbing a personal sized pizza and enjoying that during my movie. This is my go to movie theater. 10/10

This is one of my go to movie theaters. There's plenty of parking and there are restaurants in the same plaza if you want to grab something to eat before or after. The staff is really nice and you can buy a variety of food and drinks to snack on while watching a movie. They even have alcoholic drinks! The reclining heated seats are very comfortable and they do a great job keeping things clean. Would definitely recommend!

Always clean. Movie theaters are usually always cold but all seats here have heat option in three stages. Although there haven't been a lot of creative movies lately. This theater helps make the experience great.

I've come here with friends and like this theater. Easy to park, and there are nearby restaurants if you're hungry. There's a bar inside if you want alcohol, and they serve Starbucks drinks too. Seats recline and are heated! Love going to Cinemark theaters. (45/100)

Staff were super rude today. We went to see a movie at 11:20am today. When we showed our QR code at the front desk to check in, she told us where to go. When we said thank you, she just said "Yeah". You could tell she didn't want to be there at all. Also, when we were checking out at the concession stand, I mentioned scanning my member card after she scanned my gift card. Instead of politely saying you have to scan your member card first, she gave me major attitude. This movie theater has gone downhill so much unfortunately. Not to mention the dirty women's bathroom. All of the seats were up. When I moved my seat down, there were 3 pubic hairs on the seat. Absolutely disgusting!!!!

It's just so pretty

Nice clean movie theaters with power reclining seats. The shack bar offers alcohol as well as more traditional movie snacks and drinks. Went with my girlfriend and another member of her meetup group to see karate kid legends. Saturday morning showing and the theater was almost empty. Reserved seats and pre-order options from the snack bar makes it convenient to get to the theater just a few minutes before the movie starts. The only downside is that the previews and advertisements take about half an hour. So our 10:20 am showing didn't actually start until 10:45 or 10:50. We had a similar experience seeing mission impossible final reckoning the week before.

Our favorite movie theater and we go to a few different cities all over SoCal. They have very comfy seats in every movie theater . They keep this place very clean . I love how they give one free Jalapeño pack with a nacho unlike other century theaters . I realized that they are all different even though they are the same company . We go to amc sometimes but man this place is way better . Not only is it wayyyy cheaper but they have better seats and that's a big deal for me. I hate stiff seats that don't recline so I'm always comfy here.

Thanks Robert at Cinemark Orange for helping me retrieve this memorabilia, I love spoof and parody movies so I wouldn't wanna miss out!

Went here to get Naked Gun opening night giveaway poster. I had to book tickets at other theaters and called other theaters before finding it here, and even then, they still had it stored away instead of readily distributed by the door. Long story long: Got there really late (around 11:45 pm, things came up and I have mobility issues) for the 11:10 pm show, so the doors were locked and the employees were already cleaning in the kitchen area. Luckily 2 guys were exiting and I told them that I have a ticket for the last show and they held the door for me. Robert, who is seemingly the manager, saw me walking in and greeted me politely, so I asked him about the poster. He didn't think they had it even though I already called and confirmed that they do. So he went to the storage area, lo and behold, it was still a full box of posters which made me wonder, maybe no one was given this poster.... And maybe the other theaters weren't aware they had it. Then I asked if I can still watch the movie even though I'm really late, and he and pointed me to the right auditorium. I'm so glad I went here tonight! Thanks Robert for helping me retrieve this memorabilia, I love spoof and parody movies so I wouldn't wanna miss out on this obscure poster. You really have to be a "man of action" just to obtain one. -red.

When I checked the movie schedule online last night, I saw an 11:30 AM showtime, so we left early in the morning to make it on time. However, when we got there, we were told that the 11:30 AM showing did not have Korean subtitles. We had driven all the way there specifically so my mom could watch the movie with Korean subtitles, so we had no choice but to buy four tickets for the 1:15 PM showing, which did have Korean subtitles. While we were waiting, we bought nachos there, charged our cell phones, and relaxed for a while and had lunch in that mall. Being able to charge our phones was a huge plus. Also, one of the female employees, who was quite tall, was very kind and told us that there was a seating area toward the back of the theater. Thanks to her, we were able to sit there for a while, charge our phones, and eat our nachos. However, there were two women's restrooms inside the theater. One of them had no hand soap at all. I went and told the female employee, and she asked me, "There's no hand soap at all?" I said there was none at all. She then told me there was another women's restroom on the other side, so I went there, and that restroom did have soap. Before the movie started, I went back to the first restroom because it was closer to the theater, but even after more than two hours, there was still no hand soap at all. I was very disappointed, so I had to go to the restroom that was much farther away from the theater. Overall, this theater has a lot of good points. The staff is friendly, the seats are pretty comfortable, the theater is clean and pleasant, you can charge your cell phone, and parking is free. Also, for older people like my mom who want to enjoy the latest Hollywood movies with Korean subtitles, that is definitely the biggest advantage. However, I do have two suggestions: I hope they maintain the restrooms better. If there is no soap at all in the restroom, it does not seem right that no one refills it for more than two hours. I wish they would provide Korean subtitles for all showtimes. If that is not possible, I hope they clearly indicate on their website which showtimes have Korean subtitles and which ones do not. We came from far away, so it was very disappointing to find out that the 11:30 AM showing did not have Korean subtitles. Because of that, we ended up wasting two hours even though we had driven all the way there specifically for the Korean subtitles.

Went recently saw "No Other Choice" here because basically we literally had no other choice to see it anywhere else because it was at the end of its theater run. How appropriate! It was easy to purchase tickets through their kiosk and a very friendly employee welcomed us and directed us to our theater. The seats are multi/colored and have seen better days. Comfortable yet worn. That's the only downside I must mention. Other than that, I enjoyed the independent theater vibes and feeling. Good sound, smallish screening rooms. Will be back!

I love this theater so much…read more The seats are great. Food is good. Movie experience is the best. This time though, we had some issues. We got the dine-in seats. Fork and knife I think it's called. We were in the back row. Both of our seats didn't recline. I pressed the button and it didn't move at all. It was broken. My husband's chair was broken too. Disappointed there. Then there was the ticket fiasco. My husband and I got there early. Thankfully we did. We grabbed our back row seats and were excited for the movie. Some poor came over to us and told us we were in their seats. We showed them our tickets. They showed us their tickets. They both had the same row and seats. What the heck? We were confused. So they went back down and talked to AMC employees. Got their tickets fixed. A little later, another group came over to us and told us we were in their seats. Same issue again. They had 3 people though. Those 3 people, had to go to AMC staff also. My husband and I noticed other people in the theater having issues with their seats as well. Lots of unhappy customers with triple booked seats. Yikes. All bad. So between the triple booked seats and our recliner chairs not working, it wasn't the best experience. Also, the audio in our movie kept going out randomly. We were watching Mortal Kombat and it was intense fight scenes, then the sound would stop. That happened twice. We should have complained. The overall experience was unsatisfactory.

I like previews, wifey does not, so we got there in time to miss all of the previews. Stand in concession line. No complaints. Wait in line 10 minutes for the 1 person working concession? I remain unfazed; does not bug me at all. Nope, what AMC had to do to let me know I have been missing nothing all of the years I went to the Krikorian theaters is for me to finally arrive at the front of the line - and then to have someone that just bought their ticket walk to an adjacent and previously empty line, and have the 1 person working concession say, "Can I help the next VIP customer" (apparently there is some kind of a VIP line that trumps/bumps us mere peasants back in line). Elitism in a theater that shares a parking lot with a Costco feels a bit pretentious, but to each their own - I appreciated the loud and clear signal that AMC's are not my type of theater - I have good experiences at Krikorians and Regals.

So I had a plan, not a fully baked one, but also the goal that I had in mind did not need the coordination and specifics required for storming Peach's Winter Palace. So when I had my fill of a corn hole tournament I attended I decided to find a nearby theatre to enjoy the flick I wanted to see. The closest place was this one--- Regal Garden Grove. And I have to say that this place challenged my attendance instead of facilitating it. I did not buy my ticket before going to the place. However, I did see on the Flixster app that this movie was being played almost at 30 minute intervals throughout the day so whatever time I got there I would almost be guaranteed a ticket. So when I got there, it was close to 3:30 p.m. I entered, and discovered that they had a box office, of course, but no one was working it. The box office was a relic, apparently the advent of buying tickets online and other forms of technology made its purpose obsolete. So I entered and I was informed that I had two options: 1) I could either buy the tickets at the concession stand 2) or at the automated screen. I saw the line at concession stand and decided to buy the tickets with the soulless and fleshless teller. But before I did, I also noticed that this place had a 4DX option. And it is important to note that I learned of this option at the theatre, not while perusing the Flixster app. I was informed that the next 4DX Mario movie was playing at 330. I could make that one, that was my preferred choice. But getting a seat in this movie was going to be a challenge like ducking fire balls and avoiding bullet bills. I went to the automated screen and saw the option to buy a Mario movie ticket and I chose a 4:00 oclock showing, I did not see the 330 p.m. 4DX option. So I got the 4:00 option recliner seat option. Then after paying the screen went back to its original screen where all movie options was shown. This is where I saw that the landing screen had two options for the Mario movie. One option showed all the available Mario movies, except the 4DX. There was a specific button (a second touch button) to buy the 4DX Mario option. So, imagine going to a touch screen at McDonald's, and wanting to buy a combo. You go to the button to chose a combo but only see regular combos. After you pay for the regular combo you see the landing screen to learn that you have touch a second touch button to buy the x-large combos, because you cant do this in the first scree. I do not know if it is just me but this is unnecessarily difficult, like having to go through a small maze to buy a ticket. I spoke to a staff member because I wanted to change my recliner seat ticket to a 4DX ticket, which could be done. It was like 340 and I was informed that the movie had 30 minutes of previews. A manager was called, twice, and still no one came. I eventually decided just to see the movie in the recliner option theatre. I was just over the wait and the lack of active courtesy. I clipped a picture of a broken and tattered Mario Galaxy framed poster on the ground. It was kind of symbolic because the movie poster all unframed and on the floor directly spoke to my experience at this place. The movie was still great, the recliner was awesome, but I am left to wonder how would I have enjoyed the movie in the manner I wanted to see it? On a last note, a fellow movie goer also had problems purchasing her ticket in the automated teller. Her credit could not be accepted. Yes, she might not have funds or a faded chip but she could not figure out how to surpass the struggle. She ask a staff member for help the, young staff member responded, "I am not clocked in yer" and walked into a door. I would have liked for her to say, I am not able to help but maybe one of my other staff members can, let me refer one to you. Yes, she was not working, yes she is young and has professional development to acquire, but courtesy from staff members should be a baseline. At least, I think. I don't know I do not want t be a Koopa about this place but I feel like they had serious obstacles for patrons to enjoy a movie.

The prices were very reasonable and it is a great location and place to watch shows with your family and friends. I am looking forward to watching more films here! See you at the movies!

The theater itself? Honestly, fine. Seats were decent, screen and sound were what you'd expect--no…read moremajor complaints there. But the experience at the front counter completely ruined it. The employee who helped me was unbelievably rude from the start. She had a very condescending tone, barely acknowledged me, and just stood there in silence while I was trying to order, like I was inconveniencing her by being a customer. When I tried to show my ticket on the app, she told me to zoom in. I couldn't, so I offered to just read it out loud to make things easier. Instead of working with me, she snapped and raised her voice saying she has a hearing aid. Okay... but how does that justify being aggressive and unhelpful? There was zero patience, zero communication, and just an overall hostile attitude the entire interaction. It honestly felt uncomfortable and unnecessary going in the movie. It's frustrating because the theater itself is perfectly fine, but customer service like that completely kills the experience. I shouldn't feel like I'm bothering someone just to watch a movie. Wouldn't come back unless they seriously improve how they treat customers at the front.
