Value for money: 5 Cleanliness: 3 Food Quality: 4 Customer Service: 5 Look and Feel (Ambiance): 5 Thank you, Come Again?: 5 Century 16 in Sandy Union Heights is a great spot for catching a movie. I've been here a few times and always had a pleasant experience. The concession stand offers all the classic movie snacks--fresh popcorn, nachos, pizza, chips, and candies--and they're usually quick to serve, even during busy showtimes. While you're waiting for your movie to start, there's an arcade area that adds a fun touch, especially if you're with kids or just want to pass some time. My only recommendation would be for the theatre to do a deep clean of the auditorium spaces. The chairs and floors tend to feel sticky once you get inside, which takes away from the otherwise enjoyable experience. Besides the sticky chairs and floors, overall Century 16 is a convenient and entertaining place to catch a film, with friendly staff and plenty of snack options.

So fun to have movie popcorn delivered to your house! It is quick and easy and packaged wonderfully!

I said this about the Cinemark at 33rd south, and I'll say basically the same thing here, except I like this one even more. I'm a fan of this and other cinemark theaters - the place is kept clean, is sufficiently staffed, keeps enough showings going that I can always see the big pictures I want to see, and has snacks with a pre-order system that I like using. The recliners work and are super comfortable, and the theaters are high quality in terms of sights and sounds. This location represents the brand (as I understand and appreciate it) well.

Tonight was the opening night for Star Wars the Force Awakens and this theater did not disappoint. The lines were efficient, the seats were comfortable, and it was organized for a sold out show. Everyone cheered after the movie. It was a great experience.

This is a nice movie theatre in the Union Heights area. It is clean and well maintained by the staff. There is ample parking in the attached parking garage. The shopping area has several restaurants to choose from including Tsunami, Bajio's, Iggy's and Asian Star. There is even a place to get desert called Smart Cookie. Inside they have cashiers and only one ticket kiosk. They need to add more kiosks as they are both faster and easier to use and don't have the added complication of involving other humans in my transaction. The concessions offer the usual fare including popcorn, candy, drinks, nachos. They also serve Dreyer's ice cream and Starbuck's coffee. There is an arcade available for you to waste your money in. Who doesn't have a computer or game console these days? There is no reserve seating available which is both good and bad. These seats are always comfortable as movie theatre sets are. I've never had a broken one. The arms lift up in case cuddling or close proximity to the popcorn tub is required. The staff have always been friendly and courteous. Like all movies theatres in Utah it can get crowded on weekend evenings. They do offer reduced prices for a matinee. If you want to save money go the budget theatre in Sugarhouse. Their web site is terrible and looks like it is from 1997. Avoid the web site. Their online ticketing option adds costs and time. The ticket takers often give you a dirty look as the pull out their mobile device to scan in your printed ticket. Mostly because it sucks and doesn't work right. Just use the kiosk and everyone is happy. Having the nearby dining options make for a great movie experience. This is one of the better movie theatres in the area.

Cinemark Century 16 Union Heights is a newer movie theater with digital projectors, THX certified theaters, stadium style seating and comfortable chairs. We went to "Tru Grit" today and I was very pleased with the quality of the theater, the sound, and the comfy chairs. Cinemark Century 16 is a very nice theater in a great area.

What a hidden gem! O_O…read more I drove past this place so many times, but never knew that such a beautiful event place existed here! This place opened during the COVID locked down, may be that's why I didn't know about this place till recently. :/ It is located in a small strip mall, and because they open at 5 pm...there is no shortage of parking as most of the stores close around that time. From outside the venue might be a little deceiving, but as soon as you walk through the main entrance door...you will be surprised to see the well decorated spacious room (the light fixtures and the veils on the ceiling make it look even more gorgeous!). The owner, Monica is a super helpful lady who will try her best to help you out! She has s-o many different color and theme to pick from. Another great thing is their open vendor policy! They have a bar area if you choose to serve alcohol at your party. There is also a small kitchen and a big fridge on the side to keep your food. The Mr and Mrs powder rooms are very useful. This is an amazing, spacious and affordable venue with super helpful, friendly, and professional owners & staff. I HIGHLY recommend this event place.

It was raining that day, so my friend had to change her initial plan of having an outdoor ceremony to an indoor one, but the staff still managed to make her wedding smooth and beautiful. The reception was good, with tasty food, little pastries, and a cute cake. Toward the end of the reception the staff did seem a bit in a hurry to get everything cleaned up (probably because it was a Sunday,) but overall the service was good too. Seems worth checking out if you're having a small wedding or gathering.

We booked back in January of 2012, when the place was under a different management than it is now. We had a contracted sign and paid in full. Yet the new management tried to change our contract. They no longer did center pieces so we had to provide our own. They tried to tell us that they could no longer do black table cloths. The new manager him self was not very friendly. He seemed irritated that we were using our own cater even though we paid an extra 100 for using an out side cater. They new I was very upset with there service so they promised they would try and do everything they could so that nothing else goes wrong. But the day of our wedding the people who were there didn't seem like they knew what was going on. $500 worth of flowers for my bridal party were dropped off at the reception hall and someone put them in the fridge. Meanwhile when my ceremony started no one knew where they were. They didn't find my flowers until after my ceremony. I would NOT recommend them. Planning a wedding is stressful enough, without having to worry if the people that are running your wedding are going to do what they were paid to do.
