Love Centro! Order at your table with a QR code and the staff deliver your food and clean your table when you're done. We usually make sure our table is somewhat clean when we leave to be polite! Self serve water is available. I've loved everything I've had at Centro. The chips+ trio snack was really good but needed more chips, I think you can order more chips as a side. Crunchwraps are a go to! The Yuca fries have too much chili powder but are still good. I just wipe some of it off. The aioli with the yuca is sooo good! There is also a burger bar called Everywhen Burger Bar attached but I have not tried it yet! It's a cute restaurant inside, the small patio doesn't have umbrellas so it did get hot and bright if you sit outside so be prepared! *St Paul location* free street parking

Fabulous chicken sandwich. Good fries. Nice selection of hot sauces! This is a seat yourself type establishment. You can order from a QR code online or go up to the front to get your order. Water is a serve yourself along with getting ice from the bar tender should you need it. Plenty of lovely outdoor seating, lovely interior. Nice staff and friendly people. Would try some other menu items next time. It's got a lot of options! Burgers tacos sandwiches. Nice find.

This is the fanciest presentation of Horchata I've ever seen, but not much volume.

Wow! So delicious and fast. I had the three taco plate. It was all good, but the squash was best. I enjoyed the horchata, but it's not a generous amount. So good if you're watching your calories, I guess. We did the order from your phone thing which is tedious, but you can order from the host stand if you want. Lots of space with interesting decor. I would go back.

I love this place! I come here sometimes to do work but outlets are limited, they only have some at the bar. This place is very versatile, you can meet with friends, bring your kids for lunch, or chill here on your own doing work or reading! They service based on a QR code that you scan and start your own tab, you close it after each order so it's very quick! Parking is not terrible. You can typically find parking about a block away from the restaurant. Food is away good! I don't normally get the tacos but their burgers/sandwiches are great!! All of their drinks are a hit! Spirit forward with a hint of juice Come here for anything! Plenty of seating and nice lighting with music that isn't too loud!

It's a fairly large place. I had never heard anything about it before we just happened to be in the neighborhood and were looking for brunch. You seat yourself wherever you'd like and there are QR codes on the table to order everything. There is no wait staff, which isn't a big deal. Food was good, but we just went for brunch on a Saturday and they don't have a large selection. I had the breakfast tacos. They are corn tortillas that are slightly crispy. They are fairly large so two was plenty for me! It comes with salsa on the side. I ordered a side of guacamole as well which I think added a bit more to the tacos because without it, it felt a little bland. The pickled red onions are a nice addition tho! My partner had the chorizo and egg crunch and enjoyed it. It was a good sized portion for him so he was happy with that. The only downside for him was that there wasn't any coffee, Or if there was we did not find it on the menu. I think this place seems like a better place for drinks, and quick bites to eat, not so much for brunch.

Seat yourself, order yourself dining experience. Loved the speed of service and the options available for drinks and food. It is very easy to browse the menu from the QR code, to place and pay for your order. We tried the guac and chips. Hit the spot for a light appetizer with drinks. Nice location for a quick drink or bite with friends or colleagues. Very casual setting.

Omg the food was amazing. I had a Cool Ranch Chicken Crunch Wrap and a Ginger Beer with a Mexican Church Bar for dessert. The service was super polite with the waiters being mega friendly with a smile on their faces. The atmosphere was perfect because it wasn't that busy and it was just perfect to celebrate our anniversary in private in a booth by ourselves. Thanks so much for a lovely night.

I've been meaning to try this place for awhile since I've heard good things. My overall impression is that the vibe of the place was trendy but the food is so-so and there's barely any service. It made me wonder why I didn't just do takeout. It's completely self-service which I didn't realize ahead of time and would not of brought my parents here on Father's Day if I had researched this ahead of time. From ordering, to getting a high chair, to getting our own water, to figuring out where the takeout containers are- it's all on you. I even asked where I could find smaller containers for salsa and the employee kind of yelled across the room to look behind somewhere as opposed to coming over to help me and no one came around to check if we needed anything during our meal. They do walk out and deliver the food but one person's meal came out much later. I wanted somewhere that was big enough to not worry about holiday crowds but my advice is come here if you're just grabbing a drink with buddies or if you are, or are with, introverts.

Came here for dinner tonight and it was so easy to place my order and pay, as everything is done on your phone. I got my drink and food quickly after I ordered it and did not have much waiting time. For dinner I got a NA Paloma and a Centro Crunch sans tomato and crema. I was a little nervous ordering because they have gotten my order wrong in the past but today they did fine and my wrap was even more filled than it usually was! My drink was also amazing and just the right mix of sweet and sour. Overall the ambiance was good. There were many cute kids dining and enough tables were open to where no one had to wait, but I found at times the music could be just a touch too loud. Other than that, the retro decoration was cool and it is a nice spot!

My husband and I visited on a Sunday afternoon specifically to try their version of a crunch wrap supreme - The Centro Crunch. This restaurant is so aesthetic! We were seated right away and there was no wait, which was great. Drink and food ordering is via QR code, which was a little difficult trying to time out our appetizer with our main entrees, but it ended up working out just fine. We started with a mimosa and N/A margarita and the N/A margarita tasted JUST like a regular one - I was shocked! It was slightly sweet but tart - YUM. After perusing the menu, we ordered the centro crunch, the chorizo & egg crunch, and the tater tots with ranch. After taste testing both of the crunch wraps, we surprisingly liked the chorizo and egg crunch better than the seasoned beef crunch! Overall, we'll definitely be back for brunch and possibly lunch to try some different menu items!

I know it's a Mexican restaurant but I really like the Nicollet burger here. This is a nice place to sit at the bar and have some on tap beer or margaritas.

Overall solid taco place with fun drinks! I had the guava margarita which was great and then I had a guajillo chicken taco and a chicken tinga taco. I really liked the chicken tinga taco but was not as big of a fan of the guajillo chicken taco. Centro is also a little pricey for what you get. I had a good experience and would go back!

This is the first time I have visited the Saint Paul establishment and I don't think my experience is any different from my times at the Northeast location, which means very good for my case! Food comes out a bit slower here at this location, but that is only because it comes out way too fast at the Northeast one, so if anything, I waited a reasonable amount of time here. Everything was a hit. From the Brussels sprouts which had creaminess and sweetness in one bowl of roasted veggies to the rice & bean burger which was elevated by the sauce included inside it, the food was just delicious. We ordered the black bean enchiladas and yuca fries as well, and they were both as good as I would expect them to be. The green sauce for the enchiladas were spicy and very flavorful. One bite of the enchiladas must consist of the sauce. As for the tacos, they are savory, juicy, and very flavorful. If anything, I thought there was an overabundance of meat and not enough white onion or cilantro, but I bet very few people will be critical about that. Anyway, nothing short of amazing. I wouldn't expect them to taste differently from the tacos at the Northeast location, and it was the case. I am very happy to have Centro available in Highland Park because that place needed food spots like this one! Please keep it up!

Burrito Bowl also suffered the same sweetness fate. You could only eat half to fill yourself up and the rest was painfully inedible. Portions were average and decent for price. The freshness seemed fine, just the overall lack of flavor and sweetness were highly disappointing

I definitely don't feel right sitting inside a crowded restaurant yet, but strolling up to a food truck in a parking lot and chowing down on something tasty that's fresh off the grill, that is an activity I can very much get behind in July of 2020. I've had their tacos before and I knew I just wanted more of the same, so I ordered 3 tacos. And I asked for a fourth as well. Give me a break I was hungry and I hadn't eaten anything all day! They were delicious and I strongly suspect I'll stop by for more next time I see that they're back in St Paul. (They appear to divide their time between Pine City and St Paul.) A few caveats, though. One is that there were tomatoes on my tacos which I didn't want. The description doesn't mention them so I was unpleasantly surprised. Also I couldn't find anywhere for trash in the area. I'd expect them to supply that if there isn't anything around. And as they were parked outside The Lab's taproom, maybe they assumed we could get beverages in there, so they didn't appear to offer any. But The Lab's bar was only serving drinks to people on their patio. But despite all that, I know that I will be consciously craving these tacos again soon. I can't wait to return! They can usually be found somewhere on University Ave in St. Paul during the work week, though the location has varied lately. Last week I saw them by Bally's at University and Dunlap, in front of Sun Foods on University just east of Dale, and on University between Victoria and Lexington. The lady who owns the truck told me that they are planning on moving west of 280 in the near future, but they encourage calling ahead to find out where they are and to place an order for pickup. Now, for the best part - the food. The delicious, amazing food. Three styles of tacos (soft shell, Deep-fried American-style, and Border/Mexican style), burritos, tamales, quesadillas, three meats - choose from ground beef, chicken, or pork - and all available with rice and/or beans. The Border tacos are my absolute favorite. Two corn tortillas with meat, onion, and cilantro, and a lime to squeeze over the top. There is hot (red) sauce, or mild (green) sauce and, although I prefer the spicer hot sauce, the verde sauce goes really well with these tacos. I have recently started ordering the carnitas (pork), and it is outstanding - roasted, shredded, and perfectly seasoned. The food is a little more expensive than Taco Bell or Taco John's, but there is absolutely no comparison - this is real, authentic, homemade Mexican food, with real meat and fresh toppings, all made to order.
