CMD is similar to that of many art districts in large metropolitan areas in the U.S. I like the CMD's wide open concept of different areas, some interactive, and a conference area for speakers. CMD was probably a warehouse converted into an art space.
One of my favorite exhibits included the interactive 3D-printing. Cool and elaborate items were displayed as samples. Another artist only used recycled items for her art. For example, an old shirt with buttons, she melted all the buttons and remolded it into coasters and cell phone holders you can place on desks.
Outside of CMD included beautiful murals of city life. CMD is awesome inside and out!
