They don't have a very large produce section but what they do sell is usually fresh looking and relatively cheap. The coriander bunches from here are always more fresh than at the other Asian markets near me. Also the store is always very clean and well organized. Most of all, the location is great. It is right off of Alexplatz, close to an U-Bahn entrance, and next door to Alexa shopping center so you can stop in for a Starbucks on your way home!

For instance as tinned chickpeas go, you can buy them for half the price of say Edeka. It stocks loads of fresh herbs and spices too. The frozen section isn't bad either. Great to get puff and filo pastry from. Obviously it stocks Turkish delicacies and desserts as well as a great selection of International items like Naan breads, Tortilla wraps, Italian olive oils and pasta brands. Cons: The preprepared deli food and all other food was a little more expensive than other markets. We ordered a raw, seasoned pork/vegetable mix to eat at home -and it was extremely sinewy and fatty. I actually couldn't eat it -my husband barely tolerated it. Although, the seasoning was perfect! If not for all the fat and sinew, we would definitely get it again. Takeaway -great place to get good-priced, fresh fruits, vegetables, and meat (if you stay away from the pre-mixed raw vegetable/pork blend). As for nonperishables, you will likely find them cheaper elsewhere.
