Furthermore, flamenco is suppose to be small scale in an intimate setting instead of being performed on a big stage. We reserved the last table that night, second floor, but you can easily see the stage right below. The cuadro consisted of 5 people included a male and a female dancer. Not being a connoisseur of this traditional dance, I thought it was impressive and high energy. They performed for about an hour with a short break in between.
The food here was much better than expected. They have all the traditional Cordoba cuisine such as salmorejo, mazamorra, flamenquin, berenjenas con miel, rabo de toro, and pastel Cordobes. We tried most of them and the taste were as good as the less touristy restaurant we ate the night before.
