With the old location sold / demolished - it was a hard feat for the owners to find a location that could match its size/ atmosphere. It goes beyond training - it is an experience. Well, they managed to move. With trepidation the first time - could the formulae be repeated. It is a true lifters gym. You will find equipment there that is rare to find. The Legs section - come on - find me another place that has the amount of equipment / machines. Come on - 6 + different squat machines! Gym Size : I have been to gyms for NFLD to BC and many in between - nothing matches this place for size / space / equipment. It is now stretched out over two levels of intelligent use of space. Added feature : Meditation Room | Barber | Food Services with good seating (+access to microwaves if you brought something) | Supplements Shop | Kick Boxing Area + | Dentist Office | Tanning Beds | Private Closed Door Area for Women's Only Gym | Tons of Free Parking When it moved and was too far for me the time to get to - I tried EVERY other gym in DT Montreal and areas near - Sweet Dear God - throw head on table - Not The Same Thing! Pricing : Not only one of the best price in Montreal for all this equipment - but in Canada. In DT Vancouver it was $100 a month - similar hight prices in other cities with less equipment. Progym offers specials as low as $320 a year if you hit right! Hours : 24hrs /5 days- except Sat/Sun / closing at 9:00 pm + slew of Accredited Trainers (M/F) if required. Easy sign-up, no crazy overaggressive sales tactics (like American gyms), key fob can be reactivated when you revisit or if you work remotely. Top 5 Reasons to join this gym: 1. Motivation. Everyone here is there to get fit, stay fit, and they respect the place and the equipment. 2. True training. A gym that's not just for getting in shape (e.g. gym muscles). This is a legit training facility. I haven't seen much of this in commercial gyms (only at say, college athletics training facilities). 3. Respect. No sales tactics. 4. No waiting. Multiple identical workout stations (if there's a unique machine or rack or board or bar you love and rarely shows up at commercial gyms, or if they have it, they have one. ProGym will have 4 of them) 5. Old school and latest tech. Missing an old school rack or tired of lugging your own TRX to the gym, they'll have it.

Lots of different types of classes available. Sauna areas included. Great class trainers. Bleachers area for people who can come to watch. Place is clean. Front lockers specifically for valuables. The bad: Pool water can be colder than we think it might be. Class trainers are overworking (barely have a break between classes). If one pool has an issue, reorganizing space between other pools is an hassle. Lots of stupid parents not watching their kids. Changing rooms can be crowded by families. Changing rooms can be slippery. Aside from people being around and in your way (see the bad section), the place itself is a very nice one.

Last year, a new owner came.. and then the 'real' fun began: Lots and lots of athletic equipement (such as grass...like really?!! sooo coool!! You can sprint in that gym now.Also, the vibe shifted, as the strong owner and new team share strong passion, hardworking, strong unity convictions, wich has lad (in my opinion) to one of the most positive plac to train). The staff is very friendly, approchable (special wink to the male receptionnist ), and the place is clean.The team also reinvented the original website, and regularly connect with the members, wich is great! We have the opportunity to express our opinions and thoughts, it's just an overall very ''family feeling''. One thing that may bother some ladies: there 's a L-O-T of men..(the ratio men vs women is ridiculously high), so it might be intimidating at first. PS: I'm a lady, but I don't car about boy's looking at me whil I train, gringe and yell..I just do my thing in order to be stronger, fitter and get the SH** done!! :)

Cleanliness: Excellent. General area for training is clean. Facilities: Girl bathroom is impeccable. showering area is clean. Lockers available. Bring your own lock. Equipment is awesome and well kept up. Enough equipment that waiting is non-existent. Here comes the best part. The staff are real professionals and keep you motivated during the cross fit classes. Other people in the group participate and help. This is an upbeat place to go with real professionals, where you can train hard, hurt a lot and have huge fun. So for just a little more than the big chains, this place has the added bonus of excellent training, giving you good form for the many movements that will probably last you a lifetime and a huge motivational kick to stay in shape. Parking is a little difficult, but the trick is that there is some more parking behind the facility.

I had two memberships linked to my Visa card and believed that I had cancelled both memberships, which was what I intended to do, the second one was not cancelled by my error. I was told that despite the fact that the membership had not been used in 6 months, and that I acknowledged my mistake in assuming both accounts were cancelled, Sabrina in a nasty tone told me there was nothing that could be done. It cost me $45 to cancel the membership that had not been used in 6 months and I will never be reimbursed for the unused time. So very disappointed, don't be fooled by this company, they place absolutely no value on YOU as a customer, all they want is your money. I hope upper management read these comments, this is not how customer service should work in 2024, with all the technology used today to monitor the use of services like memberships, the right thing to do would have been to refund me the money spent.

It's 2 years I'm here, the price is good also. 10 bucks a month is a pretty sweet deal.

I really enjoyed my classes with Emily and Vanessa! They were awesome and they let you go at your own pace, which is important to me! I would recommend this place to anyone - but especially those who want to try yoga but are intimidated by it (like myself) - the instructors make you feel so comfortable.
