My girlfriend and I had a horrid experience with this pathetic excuse for a health care provider while we tried to get some couples counselling. The staff had assured us that videoconferencing would be seamless but it was far from it. I had to restart my session 3 or 4 times because of technical problems while my girlfriend was speaking and as a result I missed the bulk of her statements. The psychologist (Dr. Christopher Cardoso) couldn't care less about what I had gone through with their app. And since my girlfriend hadn't yet paid her half of the $210 fee before the session started, the CFIR staff cut off her connection before the session was over and forced her to pay immediately. It was not like she was trying to dodge payment. We thought it would be the 1st session of many, and that the payment procedure would be a learning curve we'd get used to. But we'll never hire CFIR again. Dr. Cardoso led my girlfriend and I to believe that my family doctor and psychiatrist are confused about my medications, and he said they don't have me on a mood stabilizer--when I've been on mood stabilizers for years including Latuda, which I'd already told him I take. I've been seeing my family doctor for years and he knows me very well; he was certainly surprised to hear a psychologist say that he's incompetent. I think if anyone is confused about meds, it's actually Dr. Cardoso. I frankly don't how he managed to get a doctorate and a license to practice, but evidently he did. If I could, I would give CFIR and Dr. Cardoso a zero star each instead of one star. read more
