My mom was a resident here 14 days rehab, 22 days on another floor, this place is totally unfriendly with the very few who speak to you. The only communication we had with administration was to be handed three separate bills never explainef why each time the amount went up. Mom went from walkung independently with a walker and holding conversations to being placed in a wheelchair, not making any sense, and wetting herself. Everytime we visited her she was in her room, no tv on even after we told them she enjoyed her game shows tv remote never where she could reach it because she could not figure out how to work the wheelchair. We walked my mom everyday we went there but it was get up eat go to bed. We decided enough called up and said we were bringing her home the next day. Got there everything was packed up, nurse came gave me meds and sign out sheet. No one ever asked why, what went wrong nothing. Therefore if we were treated this way i know how mom must have felt alone, scared and probably forgotten. I worked in nursing homes for 18 years i listened to my families and my residents, cared about how my families experience was but today there is none of this. Big beautiful building but very cold, cold. Have not heard from anyone since leaving but i will because i have a huge bill thst needs paid. We did consult an attorney and before you do this seek out a good elder care lawyer. read more
