For the last few weeks I have visited almost every boutique in my neighborhood looking to scoop up something great during the sales. Since my shopping perigrinations are much more limited now with baby, I'm kind of stuck to the Canal St Martin area, which is unfortunately packed with not-so-interesting-to-me big brands like Agnes B, Maje, APC, etc.
That's why Centre Commercial is such a welcome breath of fresh air!
Not only is the space really cool, the well-edited selection consists of casual classics by indie fashion brands that use primarily organic materials.
I picked up a really nice organic cotton top by this brand called L'Herbe Rouge that has been the perfect solution to my question of what to wear during this bizarre (non) summer weather.
I also really like the fact that they mix fashion, beauty and furniture so effortlessly together to create a real lifestyle mis en scene. By the way, all of the vintage furniture is for sale and not that pricey and they also carry one of the best French organic beauty brands, AINY.
My only critique is that the women's fashion is less inspiring than the men's. In fact it took two visits to even realize that there was a women's rack.
Special shout out to the super spacious dressing rooms that comfortably fit mama and her stroller-bound baby!! read more
