I've had such a wonderful experience with Diana Troy's Allstate office. I moved to Texas from New…read moreYork and needed to get renters and auto insurance. I had been dreading the process of setting this up, but Vivian (a member of Diana's team) made it so easy. I called mid-morning and Vivian was able to get everything processed in a single day (with my previous agent, adding renters insurance took three days!). In addition, Vivian coordinated getting proof of my renters insurance to my landlord. Then, when my landlord had questions Vivian and Monalisa (another member of Diana's team) handled conversations with him. I was anxious to get a copy of my renters declaration form. Vivian knew this, so she reached out to me over the weekend via text to let me know it was processed. I'm so impressed with the level of customer service she provided. I feel good knowing that if I have an issue with my car or my apartment that I have Diana and her excellent team in my corner.

I would hope that practicing due diligence is still considered good business practice, along with ethics and integrity. I don't seem to be able to discern those qualities in this company. I would think what appears to me to be, at the very least, a poor decision by Ms. Skipworth and/or the company she works for would not be good business practice. I rate this business with one star only because a star was required to post.

Pam Knieper is a realtor/broker to definitely stay away from. She "accidentally" sold our land…read moreseveral years ago. Her words not ours....Her client bought a house next to our land that we had for sell. They did not want a house built next to them and they inquired about buying our acreage. Pam was proud of saying she got it "confused with another listing" and told them it had multiple offers. It did not and Pam wasn't ethical enough to correct her mistake because it's all about commission. I remembered her complete unprofessional attitude and zero concern for clients who just made a large purchase through her .... she basically lied to them to pay top dollar for land and a second commission for her. Yes, we were glad to sell the land but didn't find her story very ethical or as funny as she did when telling us at closing. We have had at least 4 real estate transactions since then and made sure we never used her or viewed any property her firm had listed. We didn't want to "accidentally" be told a listing had multiple offers to elicit a higher offer. I think a honest realtor is what you want when making the largest purchase you make ... your home No worries... Pam doesn't remember us and confused me for someone else she has "been friends with for years". We are in a small town.... Pam acts like she is a celebrity entitled to special treatment at other businesses. She expects to be catered to above others I have asked around and haven't found anyone who likes dealing with her. Definitely wouldn't want someone like that representing me or speaking for me in a real estate transaction.

SCAMMERS AND THIEVES. We toured the Cottages at Summer Creek on 5/3/25 and were told they offered…read moreshort-term leases. Since we are in the process of building a house and only needed a 7 month lease, this seemed like the perfect solution. We completed our online application on 5/5/25 and paid a $150 application fee and $150 administrative fee. We received an email on 5/9/25 stating that we had been approved and would receive an email shortly with our lease to execute. When we did not receive the lease, I emailed the office on 5/13/25 and received a reply back the same day stating that the lease would be generated shortly. After that, we heard absolutely nothing back and all of our emails went unanswered. We finally drove the two hours from our house back to the apartment complex on 5/24/25 to see if we could speak with someone in person and find out what was going on. A lady named Kyla then informed us that the apartment complex had undergone a management change and could not honor our previously negotiated short-term lease request, as they were only approving leases for 12 months or longer. We told her that did not work for our situation and requested a refund. She said they could not refund the administrative fee but that she could refund the application fee. Since then, we have been emailing repeatedly trying to get that partial refund. Today is 7/15/25 - almost 8 weeks since we originally requested our refund - And all we are getting is a runaround. Avoid this company at all costs. They are scammers and will take your money without thinking twice.
