How is that shared branching? I needed to just cash a payroll check or deposit it into my credit union, only to be told that I can't because I'm not a member here, but they do participate in Shared Branching with other credit unions. Doesn't make sense!

Came here right before they closed to do an ATM withdrawal. I didn't want to be the type of person…read moreto go in 2 minutes before closing, but the ATM was being serviced. As I realized the ATM wasn't working, it was too late to go inside as they locked the doors. Why would you service the ATM when the branch is closed? There were 4 people who needed to use the ATM in the 15 minutes that I waited. Doesn't make any sense to disable the ATM from being used when that's the only way to do transactions when the bank is closed.

They were rude and condescending instead of being helpful and understanding when I had a misunderstanding of what numbers were needed for a shared branch account. I simply provided what was listed on my statement. Ive listed the same numbers before with other tellers and they have never told me I dont need the last 5 digits of the shared branch number. So how would I know? They found my account pretty quick (cant be more then 5 minutes), so not sure why their fuse was so short. I hope this is NOT how they usually treat customers, especially if they're elderly where extra help is needed.

But now, we can do our banking at their small two window branch just outside the entrance to the Campus Center Dining Food Court from 8-4 Monday thru Friday. That means we can make deposits, withdrawals, or cash checks any time during the work day, and it's just a hop and a skip from most points on campus. The only thing is that you can't buy travelers checks at this branch, but how often do you need to buy traveler's checks?

There was no greeting, no smile, and she didn't ask how she could help. Even after assisting me, there was no "thank you" or "is there anything else I can help you with?" I understand that everyone has different personalities, but customer service is a big part of working with customers, especially in a bank setting. I'm not sure if this was just my personal experience or if this is simply her usual approach, but I left both times feeling like I was an inconvenience rather than a customer being helped.
