We were so pleased to see our Son in Law Jay and his family, his Mother was there as well as his sister too. Our grandsons came along too and we truly had a meaningful experience. The church was beautiful and warmly welcoming, and services held by the Monsignor was a truly enjoyable and enriching experience for both my wife and I. I would be remiss if I didn't mention the parishioners friendliness towards us and so many smiling faces seemed to say. "We're so happy to have you here today"we both felt very appreciated and welcome too. While we were there, they were holding a bake sale after Mass, that was very connected to a charity important to the community. They're also a promoter for the "Knights Of Columbus" and Father will be quite happy to connect you with this local chapter if you're looking for them also. I certainly recommend this congregation to anyone of the Catholic faith as a truly welcoming place to share the Sabbath services with.

If it isn't electrified/amplified, he is not interested in letting you serve. There are plenty of violinists, brass players, etc who attend the church and who have wanted to serve but he turns them down. He comes across as a bit arrogant and fake. As music minister he sets the tone for the service and it is a tone I do not like. There used to be a lot more diversity in the music. There used to be mens quartets singing old time Gospel (in addition to the contemporary music. There used to be violins up from and woodwinds. The current music lacks depth. It is more a concert than a worship experience. The pastor is awesome; but shouldn't the rest of the service match???

Being contemporary, there were many young adults, but the age range was larger than I had expected. They were talking on a series, "Won't You Be My Neighbor". They had two handouts; one for main points and notes, and one directly related to the reading for the day. The music was live and energetic, as well as the congregation. The 11:30 service had some seats open, and I enjoyed the experience. Communion service was not pressured, one could get in line and participate at their own will. There were also gluten free offerings. The spirit of the pastor and the congregation was contagious, I would absolutely visit again.

I wanted to build relationships with people that love the Lord and want to see the good in others. Those that care about you and remember what is going on with your life so they can pray for you. And I could pray for them. I wanted great worship that wasn't too flashy but got to the Spirit of true praise. I wanted a great message that I could eat on all week and would help me grow closer to God. I got that and so much more here. If you've been to so many churches and you are tired of not finding a place that feels right in your spirit, I highly suggest trying out SGBC. They have life groups and children's church too. A congregation of all ages.
