We booked Central Coast Mobile Game Theater for our sons 9th birthday party and we were not disappointed. The trailer arrived early to ensure the set up was complete by the time we had agreed on, he even let us start about 10 minutes early. The customer service was fenomenal and everyone involved were made to feel comfortable and they did a good job in creating and maintaining a fun atmosphere. The trailer was very clean and the equipment looked to be in excellent conditions and functioned without any issues. There was a large variety of games to choose from and multiple console options. The trailer offered gaming both inside and outside the trailer which allowed a large number of gamers to play and not have to wait around. They were very flexible and even allowed us to add an hour at the end, of course this would depend on their schedule and availability. The owner/operator was very polite and did a really good job with the kids. Everyone who interacted with him had nothing but positive comments to make. We booked them for a Laser Tag Party for my 12 year olds birthday party. We had a group of 25 boys and they did the most amazing job! This party was by far the largest I have had for any of my kids and yet they made it the EASIEST party I have ever had. They were very easy to work with and accommodating to a large group. They showed up early and were very well organized. They were so great with all the kids, explained the games well and were very inclusive of everyone. They held the attention of twenty five 12 yr olds for two hours and I was so impressed! The boys absolutely loved it and had so much fun. I wish I could give them more than 5 stars! read more

We had a birthday party for our 9 and 11 year old boys with the video game truck. They were awesome, and all went smoothly. They arrived early to set-up and gave the kids great instruction before playing the games. They had an attendant both inside and outside of the truck to help with all the games and were very good with all the kids! They helped the kids who didn't know how to use the controllers very well and were very patient. I couldn't be happier with this experience. We had Mobile Game Theater run a laser tag party for us, and everybody had a great time. They do two really important things right which were key to our good experience: * They have high quality laser tag equipment * They do a good job organizing and running the laser tag games The taggers themselves are sturdy and well designed, and the red and blue colors make it pretty obvious that they are not actual weapons. The taggers are self contained, and don't use (or at least don't require) vests, headsets, or other accessories, other than a shoulder sling to keep them from being dropped. This might sound like a limitation, but it worked out great for us. For one thing, it makes it simple and quick for players to rotate in and out of the game. It also helps keep things sportsmanlike: it's harder to tag someone in the back, and anyone who points a tagger at someone else pretty much has to expose their own hit sensor. Overall I thought the system struck a really good balance, allowing for plenty of competition and different strategies, while minimizing the temptation for dirty tricks. The taggers have scopes that are easy to use, but not strictly necessary, which helps a lot while learning to aim and use the equipment effectively. We had probably the ideal conditions, which also helped: * We used a big, flat, partly wooded area, which complemented the blinds and tents that Mobile Game Theater brought. * We had a group of mostly teenagers with a few adults, all of them (relatively) good sports. * The partial shade from the trees allowed good range on the taggers and good hiding places. I hired this company for my boyfriend's birthday and it was perfect. They were on time and extremely nice. They communicated well with me when I was having a hard time finding a venue. They were very patient, especially with a group of about 14 20 year olds. It looks really cool on the website and yelp but it is way cooler in person. I did the 3 hour combo party and it could not have gone better. Specific shout out to the guy that was there representing the company. He was extremely nice and when I was sitting alone taking a breather( I was pretty tired from decorating and running around all day) he came to check on me to make sure I wasn't left out.
