We did not hear from them until about 3 weeks into the transaction after I kept calling. The HUD was sent the day before I had to call about that as well. We arrived for a 9am and were not taken in to sign until after 10am no one let us know what was going on. Seller finally signed at 10:30am. Noting mentioned on delivery of funds so I called and Robin said we do not wire we can overnight and it costs 85.00??? it is now almost 4:00 we have not heard from anyone regarding the recording or delivery of checks or when we may pick them up! Robin sent me am email and said she could express mail my check with the seller check of almost 1 million dollars... Are you kidding me?? who would do that? Both should be over nighted for all the inconvenience and lack of communication. I would not use this practice. We have had a very bad experience here.

Mr. Huffman and his staff have been amazing to me and my family…read more For over 2 years, Mr. Huffman and his team, Mary and Michelle, gathered all the necessary information in preparing for my Social Security hearing. Mary and Michelle was always available to answer any questions I had through out this process. And, there were many questions. This was a very stressful process, but they always eased my mind. June 2019 was my hearing. The hearing was expected to last for hours, however, in only 15 minutes, the hearing was concluded. Mr. Huffman's guidance was invaluable. The decision was favorable on my behalf. This would not have happened without Mr. Huffman's expertise in this matter. I am forever grateful for what he and his staff has done for me and my family. Thank you Mr. Huffman, and Mary and Michelle!

UPDATED REVIEW: I…read moreoriginally left Chris a very poor review for multiple reasons. Mainly, the lack of communication after my judgment was delivered. I had to call repeatedly for multiple weeks to get documentation that I was promised. I got a call from him, directly, the day after I reviewed his firm. He asked what he could do to make it right with me. The only thing I wanted was the documentation that he promised me during his representation of me. Chris delivered later that day. Not only did he deliver on what he said he would do, he also went above and beyond and offered me an additional service for later, should I need it. For those reasons, I am changing my review from one star to four. Chris McCartan laid my options out clearly and let me know what I was up against during his representation of me. I was confident in Chris to handle my case to the best of his ability. Albeit expensive, he helped me receive a favorable outcome. I will refer people to Chris in the future and recommend him for legal defense in Concord, NC.

There is only ONE Firm I recommend for closing on real estate transactions: The Coley Law Firm…read more Anne and her staff are always prepared, efficient, and put my clients at ease during, what could be, a very stressful time. As a listing realtor, I have had to use other firms and every time I have had to do this I am reminded that not all firms are equal. The disarray of some firms during closing has been quiet unsettling and reminds me of how important it is to choose wisely. As a buyers agent, I ALWAYS recommend that my clients use The Coley Law Firm and my clients are so grateful. The closing process is way to important to take chances. As a realtor, Anne is always available to me during the entire transaction and her staff is top notch. If you are looking for a Real Estate Law Firm, look no further than The Coley Law Firm!

The estate process felt unnecessarily stressful due to a lack of coordination. We were also not informed as fees were deducted from the estate without prior communication or an itemized invoice. We expected much more professionalism, transparency, and empathy during such a difficult time. Based on our experience, I would not recommend this firm.
