I had been a member for 2-3 years. The campus pastor in Rockport is Nick. He is kind, knowledgable,…read moreand most importantly caring. He is unapologetic for his support of the hierarchy of the church. The lead pastor is Bill Cornelius. He has his wife and sons very involved in the ministry. Like most non denominational churches, there is a tremendous effort to grow. In order to grow the church needs money. There is a huge effort to raise money so tithing is important to the church . The money does a lot of good. However, all the typical methods guilting people to tithe are used to the extreme. I don't think pastor Bill uses his campus pastors correctly. Instead, he encourages his sons to preach. There in lies the problem. His children did not inherit the orator gene that pastor bill has. For these reasons and more, I am no longer an active member. I would encourage you to go to see a service. Make up your own mind.
