TRENDY LITTLE SPOT - We were in the bike and paint districts in Merida near Mercado San Benito and were walking towards Calle 60 from Calle 54 on Calle 61. That's when we chanced on this lovely little bar/restaurant and stopped for a bottle of wine. The servers were friendly, the wine was reasonably priced, and the place itself was very modern excellent vibe music. Given it's in a very locals heavy part of town, it seemed to cater to foreigners in a way and while priced a little high for the area it didn't seem out of place for who they are catering to.
We ordered a guacamole, it was rich and limey served with thick cut crunchy chips, very solid offer at 160 pesos. We didnt try the other food but the menu seemed full of classic pub type food you'd find around the world with a yucatacan flare.
If you are looking for a place to stop to have a drink and some pub food, this is worth your time!
