The previous time I did this, I was able to go during my lunch break. Here's what happened this time. First I got an email from PDS Medical on 12/24/25 reminding me I have an appointment on January 7th, 2026. I confirmed the appointment. Then I get an email on 12/30/25 reminding me I have an appointment and letting me know that I can save time by using e check-in. Done. I checked in using the online portal. Finally. I got a text message the morning of my appointment on Jan 7th again reminding me I have an appointment. Confirmed! My appointment was at 1:30pm, so I took a lunch break from 1:00pm-2:00pm. I showed up at 1:15pm. Checked in at the front desk. The receptionist, a very nice lady named Esmeralda charged me my $70 copayment. She emailed me my receipt. Receipt received in my email at 1:17pm. I waited in the lobby patiently. I was then called in at my appointment time exactly at 1:30pm. The assistant took my blood pressure & weight, then escorted me to the waiting room at 1:35. I sat in the waiting room until 2:00pm! Christine V. never showed up! I heard her walk into a room of a patient that showed up after me at 1:58pm! There was no communication from the staff letting me know they were short staffed. Nor was there any communication for warning me that the wait would be longer than expected. I left as soon as my lunch break ended 2pm (and returned to work late). I did let the nice receptionist know that no one ever came in the room to see me. She could tell I was upset when I walked out. Do you think anyone called me to apologize? No! Not during the drive home, nor during the remainder of the afternoon or evening! The next day I got a message from the MyChart portal letting me know my prescription refill was denied. The portion I paid for my blood work on 12/24, and the $70 copay for the office was a waste of money!

Valhalla Wellness is just the place where I feel comfortable as a patient and with the doctors to explore this. When I walked into the office the front staff greeted me and I was so impressed at how the feel and atmosphere of the office is. The office is very clean and nicely done. I did not wait long for the doctor, actually I was still filling out the paperwork when they called. I finished the said paperwork in the room while talking to the office assistant. I came in for a wellness evaluation. I found this business looking for a second opinion. While I am not seeking my second opinion here I did ask the doctor to evaluate the notes from my primary physician, and he looked them over during the visit too. After the appointment I now have more knowledgeable to continue the journey to wellness and actually make it. I guess we cannot fight fate, but we can give her a reason to go slower or stay away for a time. The receptionist Rene said she would get someone to take care of it. A PA wrote up the letter, gave me a copy and said they would fax it that day. Upon getting home I looked at the letter and it did not contain the information I had requested to be put on it. I was also told that day things like this could take up to two weeks. They needed to tell me that in the beginning not on the due date. I've been so stressed all week. This is a huge monetary matter and no one at the office could care less. This may not sound great but to me who's walked in and waited for almost three hours at a clinic before for something minor, I think it is a great experience. The office is clean and spacious. I've always encountered nice and helpful staff. I've only encountered PAs and NPs at this location though. Never the MDs themselves. I never encountered an issue with any of them though. They're knowledgeable and listens to your issue. Overall, good walk-in experiences.

I have left 6 messages . Not one return call nothing. The minute you step out of this office you might as well be dead. They don't care once you leave. I started calling last Friday at 9am and now it's a week later and still no response. The pharmacy is amazing too. It's the no way to get through to the office. It's the most frustrating thing to call and call and call and get no response. I have stage 4 breast cancer Mets to spine hips and ribs and I need to be able to reach the office. I'm hoping someone up high enough sees this. I have had this issue since coming to this clinic. When I'm there are people who are having to walk in because they can't get through to the office. My last Dr who has since left said he hears this from almost every patient. The phones never get answered and messages never get returned. I went to see Dr. Valladeres for my melanoma diagnosis. The first thing he said to me was"This does…read morenot look very promising" A nice comforting way to great a patient. My main tumor had been destroyed by 33 radiation treatments. The Dr. never even checked the results, but still gave me TWO powerful immunotherapy drugs, and at a very high dose. The result-kidney failure and permanent dialysis. Had he given me one medicine, and at a low dose, I would be o.k. today. He had my newest blood work, saying my kidneys were dead, and never bothered to call me and tell me to get to the hospital. Fortunately I called 911 and they rushed me to the hospital. If I waited a day or two, I wouldn't be here today. I have never had a Dr. this bad in my entire life . Totally uncaring to my needs. He never would answer any of my questions. Now, my life is ruined, because of Dr. Valladeres. Three days a week of horrifying dialysis,4 hours a day until I die. Please, for your own good, stay far away from this Dr .
