I did online searches of all daycares in the area and this one never popped up so I was frustrated with my lack of choices until a coworker mentioned they had toured Little Scholars and liked it. I made a quick phone call and scheduled a tour for myself. Staff could not have been nicer and rates were very affordable. Thankfully, I was able to get on the waiting list in enough time to have availability for when I finished maternity leave. My whole experience here was so easy. I handed over a bag of my son's items every day and they labeled everything for me. I set my car sear in the front hall with all the others and picked it back up at the end of the day. Staff was always very laid back. I never once got a call about an emergency or a situation that they couldn't handle. I could stop in and check on my baby any time that I wanted. I enjoyed getting my notes at the end of the day with a full report of all of his activities. They also did crafts! I was so impressed that my baby got sent home with completed crafts all of the time. My son was happy here and was usually rocking peacefully when I arrived for pick-up. I no longer commute to Muncie every day but I am so thankful this daycare was available for when I needed it.

In the summer there are various camps based on age and skill level like cheerleading, flag football, basketball, reading, music, and swimming. Cons: They don't have a security system. Anyone can walk in, which is kind of scary. They have a playground across the street that the kids have to walk to and several times the gate has been left open. Also, there is a staircase going down without a gate on it. The lack of security features (huge deal in my mind) are the reason for 3/5 stars. p.s. They always schedule school events during the day time of weekdays. I have my child in childcare for a reason... I work. This has caused a great deal of stress from time to time.

I called Baxter over a week ago to deal with a mouse problem. On the plus side they were able to…read morecome out the same day but their resolution of the problem was less than adequate. He started off by spraying peppermint oil (which I've since found out has zero effect!) and then proceeded to fill in some holes behind the cabinets. He left 2 glue traps and that was it! I've since called out a different company (Evans Pest Control) as we still saw mouse activity. They laughed when I told them about the peppermint and did a much more thorough job - putting down multiple traps and bait stations and filling the remainder of the holes. They will even do a follow-up in 2 weeks to check the traps and set more if needed. They even out traps and bait in the crawl space in case of mouse activity there. So if you are serious about resolving a mouse problem save your time, money and sanity and skip Baxter

I will reach legal assistance if they don't call me and resolve this issue
