If you have an account at Centennial Bank, I would go first thing when the bank opens and pull out your money and close your account! This bank and the people in leadership are so deceptive. The negligence of this bank has caused great harm to my small business and my family. The corruption runs deep. I know I am not alone. The dishonesty and potentially criminal activity by this bank need to be exposed. If you would like to share your story of corruption or negligence by Happy State Bank or Centennial email: Happyiscorrupt@communioncooperative.com and expose what is going on. This lender completely mishandled my PPP loan causing a burden far beyond what any small business should have to experience in this program. They do not care about small businesses, and they bully anyone who calls out the corruption and use lawyers to intimate because they know small businesses are the weaker party. CEO & President Tracy French and COO John Stephen Tipton called me to discuss my situation. They said they would investigate and call me back. That was June 30, 2023. I never got a call back. Public records show Tracy French has a compensation package of about $1.6m and Stephen Tipton $987,979. I think they could afford to find time to return my call. If your money and business are at this bank you are contributing to their pockets getting deeper while further separating any care for integrity or ethical behavior towards small businesses. They have no problem ignoring the importance of following through on what they discussed they would do and have operated in complete bad faith with my situation with no accountability. The leadership in this bank has no morals but only finds joy when John Allison touts the success of deposits each quarter. As a client at this bank, you are only worth the dollar you have in the bank or what you bring to the bank. They don't care about you, your small business, or the livelihood of your family. If you stay with this bank, it is only a matter of time before you are a victim of their corruption. The first step is to close your account and get out, the second is to email me with your experience and we can work together to expose what is going on and the harm they are causing to mom-and-pop small businesses that are still hurting from the COVID closures. read more

Worst bank ever!!! i honestly believe they have some against black people. They do anything in they power to keep from cashing a check keep in mind its tax season so they verified the checked the check cleared held it for 7 days then said they had to hold it for 3 weeks they check still cleared then held it for 21 days then gone ask to see our tax return to see what the tax preparer was filing. now when do banks ask for tax paperwork to cash a check. if thats the case they should have ask for it before they agreed to cash it. Ask for the check back they said they sent it back to the irs and u know what that mean anytime the bank send money back they gone send it back ask fraudlent. so now with the irs being behind aint no telling when we will get the money. Then we have a loan with them a commerical loan its due on the 6th of every month we pay it at the end of the month the lady call every month complaining sending emails getting smart telliny us we need to pay more money we cant pay at the end of the month she then send out a repo letter by law u have to be 90 days behind to get repoed. i just wonder do they do white people like this then they would go in our savings account and take money out to make the payment for us im like long yall getting paid it dont matter if we pay at the middle or end we not beind. i hate that bank they fucking nosey we closed our account ASAP! Centennial Bank - Banks & Credit Unions Near Me - Bryant, Arkansas

Banked with them for over a decade, close to two, used to have excellent customer service and friendly, helpful faces. And it may still at other locations. The Bryant (Reynolds) location however has soured me to the point that I've chosen to take my business (multiple accounts and a mortgage) elsewhere to Arkansas Federal. Dismissive, totally unconcerned with my wishes and needs and completely apathetic toward me as a customer on too many occasions. It couldn't be more obvious that as a normal consumer they don't actually care about you anymore. Perhaps they're too concerned with all the large corporate interests they now fund. The branch manager Mr. Berry is snide and condescending and operates at a snail's pace with 0 concern about you as a customer. You'd be better off banking elsewhere or at least trying a different branch. read more

The manager at this particular branch thought it would be a good idea to freeze my acct when my EX HUSBAND (big note on the EX part) overdrew his acct by over $2.5k. They later back tracked to tell me they thought it was fraud & they froze my acct "for my protection." Lie! Mind you, this ex is not allowed to contact me through any means besides attorney. We separated our accts in 2014, so I made it crystal clear in October 2016 when my name change went through that I was to be disassociated from any other acct besides my own. I was put through a day of hell b/c the branch manager told me that I was still going to be held liable for the negative balance on an acct I haven't had access to in YEARS! I recorded the phone call, so if anybody wants to contest this pretty threatening conversation, go right on ahead & let me email you the audio file. I called my atty & was told that nothing should stop me from closing my personal acct, so I asked for the acct to be released, since I did in fact have auto drafts due in the next few days, and she did. Another branch kindly gave me the balance of my acct & closed it out. I immediately moved my business to another bank. This morning I called to double check that everything was closed. The customer service rep asked me to speak with this branch mgr. Her tone changed completely & she said that they found the docs proving I was not in any way associated with any other acct & would not be held responsible for the massive overdraft. Too little too late my dear. I'm not going to do business with this entire chain of banks ever again. The single star is only for them taking the right action in the end without needing my atty to get involved directly. I hate being lied to and the excuses I got for the mistake they made were unacceptable. I guess they don't know what it's like to have a 24 hour long severe panic attack! This review is poor for good reason. The only way I'll remove or upgrade it is if I receive compensation for my time in dealing with this ordeal. Oh, and have fun taking my ex to court!!!!!!:) read more
