For a town that seems to be on its last legs, these gardens were rather nice and pleasant. In fact they turned out to be a rather lovely place to spend some time, particularly with the war memorial, and just the rather cultivated atmosphere. In a way it certainly makes the town feel much greener, and more pleasant, especially knowing that there has been some effort into turning this place into a rather charming place to spend some time.
