Came here as part of a tour right after our stop to Chicen Itza. It was about 30 minutes outside of the world wonder, but it took a little bit of off roading to get there. This place was amazing and beautiful. First time I had ever seen a cenote up close! The tour included a buffet that offered a variety of Mexican dishes, but the taste was okay. Drinks were not included, but was sold at a reasonable price ($2 USD for a soda or beer). This place has lockers (also $2 USD) and a changing room for anyone that wants to jump into the water. You're required to rinse off before getting in. Once you get there, you get an stunning view of the cenote from up top. The depth of this cenote is what it is known for in comparison to the others. Once you're at the bottom, there's a diving platform for people to jump off of. Be careful for those who don't know how to swim. The cenote is said to be 145 feet deep! They offer life vests for rent, but we didn't have any interest in renting so I can't share the pricing. They do have a lifeguard...or who I believe to be a lifeguard. It was an employee that sits in a nearby boat, but his expertise in rescue is also unknown. Overall, I think this location is a stop for many tours. I recommend finding a tour that offers a stop at a cenote because it was definitely a unique experience to Cancun. read more
