After speaking with five different companies, we landed on AmeTex roofing for a few different reasons. For one, they were very responsive and did not leave any questions unanswered. Reason number two, they were very upfront about the cost and happy to list in detail the cost of labor, materials and anything additional that might come up. Reason number three, Gus was very easy to work with and he spent a significant amount of time making sure the quote he provided would be a final representation of the cost associated with the project. Once they completed the project, it made a HUGE different in the appearance of the home. It looks fantastic and they did a great job cleaning up the job site. We will definitely use AmeTex for any future roofing needs!

AmeTex replaced the roofs on two of my rental properties which were damaged in a recent tornado…read more Gus met me at the property and explained everything. AmeTex had the shingles delivered to the property and placed directly on the top of the building, so that it was easy for the crew to get up there and do the work in a timely manner. Gus was respectful, his men did a fine job, and he communicated clearly. He sent a receipt even before I requested it for insurance purposes! Even though I am a property owner from out of town, and they could have taken advantage of this, they really did a good job for me. The roofs look great and I am pleased with this professionally-run business.

Parnell came out quickly and set up fans to dry out the area and pull up the laminate floor that was damaged. My tenant is a great tenant but is difficult to deal with when scheduling things to be done at the house. I would use this company again and recommend them to my friends.

This work was for my mother's house in Waco, I am in California. We had this work done in February of this year.....and YES, seven months later I finally got around to writing this review! IMO this should tell you how I feel about their work! Darren was the onsite rep and was very responsive and kept me updated as the work progressed. Anyone who has worked with contractors understands that this can sometimes be challenging and doing so long-distance even more so. After shopping around I found their pricing to be reasonable and Darren was GREAT! We also needed some gutter work done and though Honey's didn't offer this service, Darren brought in someone else and served as my PM and things worked out perfectly! I highly recommend this company for any of your roofing needs!

I would recommend not using this company after my recent experience…read more I contacted Honey's Roofing to re-attach 3 adjacent ridge shingles that had blown off my roof on a very windy day. The person who showed up the next day told me I also needed sealant around the shingles surrounding my vents and turbines, which in itself was not necessary. He wanted $450 for the job, which I told him was way too much---so he lowered his estimate to $300, which I again said was too much. He then lowered his estimate to $200 cash. I reluctantly agreed and the work was performed. Whether or not the work was performed properly is not readily known, since I don't get up on the roof. Be wary of this company. Their representative was about unethical as you can get.

They began to cut the joist / studs down 50% instead of replacing it or replacing the facia. Also, they did not know how to adjust the weather head .Weather head should be at 90degrees. They framed around the weatherhead at 45° is supposed to be 90° angle. I played dumb so not too upset the roofers. I hate correcting contractors so I let it go. I did not have to supervise the work. my sister initiated the insurance claim. So I am not at fault for her ignorance ?She does not have experience in structural work or roofing. so I give them a two star. I have pictures to support my claims. The roof should last... but it is not 100% . Ask someone with experience supervise their work. If you hire them.
