This was the first time our family had ever had to arrange a funeral, and we really didn't know what to expect or how to properly handle everything according to Vietnamese Buddhist traditions. Ms. Uyen patiently guided us every step of the way with kindness, compassion, and understanding. She helped coordinate the funeral arrangements, worked with the temple and the monks, and made sure our father's service was beautiful, respectful, and meaningful. Even when we had questions or needed to make changes, Ms. Uyen was always patient and did everything she could to accommodate our family. What touched us most was her help in arranging for our father's ashes to be kept at the temple for two years, which was something he had wished for while he was still alive. Knowing that his final wish could be fulfilled brought our family tremendous comfort and peace. Isabel communicated every step of the process and helped answering any questions I had in a prompt and kind manner. She also helped us with ordering flowers and making sure the booklet we chose for my sisters viewing was exactly as we envisioned it. Additionally, we wanted to make sure no one took pictures of my sisters body and Isabel make sure signs were posted with these instructions. We are forever grateful to have chosen this establishment. It took me about 5 minutes sitting in my car to get myself together to walk into the door. Once I made it past the front door the staff was amazing. A gentleman that I didn't catch his name expressed his genuine condolences and sat me into a conference room. I didn't have to wait long and Zac came in to walk me through everything. When mom did pass. The arrangements were executed without any hiccups. We wanted to serve coffee and some snacks, they had 3 tables ready to go in the back of the room which I decorated and arranged food on. I brought 2 carafes to make coffee in as well as table decorations and some finger foods. It worked out perfectly. Overall, we were all so grateful for everything England Family Mortuary had to offer and the services they provided. They are 3 generations of caring individuals who put a great deal of pride into their work and mortuary. I would use them again in a second.
