**5 Stars - A Truly Exceptional School Community**…read more I honestly wasn't expecting to find such a warm, welcoming, and supportive community when my son started at this elementary school. From day one, it's been clear that the staff truly know and care about each individual student. His teachers--and even administrators who aren't directly in his classroom--have taken the time to understand who he is, what he needs, and how best to help him thrive. What has impressed me most is the genuine partnership we've built with the school. Communication is strong, thoughtful, and centered around helping my child succeed both academically and socially. It's such a relief to know that we're all on the same team, working toward the same goals. We feel incredibly lucky to be part of this school community. It's made a bigger impact on our family than we ever imagined.

Westside school moved into a permanent home a few years ago and hired a new head of school a few years before the pandemic. The balance between academics and Social emotional skills is good and the school has a wealth of talented and dedicated teachers and staff who care about education, the world and making positive change. There is nothing better than seeing my child run to school every morning. We have been there 4 years and I was hesitant to go to an independent school at first. I didn't grow up rich and was concerned. This is truly a great community of people who want to make a difference in the world and value children being seen for who they are.
