I would highly recommend you NEVER use this law firm if you want results and are looking for a lawyer who is professional and does their due diligence. I made the mistake of hiring Jodi Argentino for a very serious and emotional case. I signed a retainer on 2/4/25 and as of 6/10/25 she still had no confirmation from the opposing attorney about an a simple appt for an appraisal. She never even called the other attorney. SHE may have sent 4 emails to him asking very passively about going forward with an appraisal. Never took charge, never gave deadlines and didn't follow up until I asked what was going on. Let months pass doing nothing. NEVER once returning a phone or her assistant. Didn't answer emails. What professional attorney does not answer emails or phone calls. Is this who you want working on your case? Had to fire her because all she did was drag my case and drain me of my money. In my opinion all she cared about was prolonging my case so she could take every dime I had. It's all about the MONEY not doing her due diligence. So UNPROFESSIONAL that she didn't even respond to my new professional attorney When he requested my file on JUNE 10. How nasty and vindictive to hold my files from my new attorney and purposely hold my case up. I am sure I will get charged for that. How horrible can a person be?? To just drag her feet just to take my money. This was an easy case that didn't need over 4 months of promised actions and follow ups that she never did. March 28 she sent an email to the opposing attorney that she would send a list of appraisers. SHE NEVER DID THAT. How is that professional. I finally did her job and did the research and gave her recommendations for appraisers on JUNE 5 which she forwarded to the opposing attorney and as of JUNE 10. She still did not set up an appt with the appraiser. I had enough of her lack of communication, neglect and misrepresentation. How many emails did I get saying 'she would start drafting the complaint " SHE NEVER DID from March until June. AT least 2 times she forgot to send me an email response from the opposing attorney. WOW is that the type of attorney you should trust with your case. If I didn't follow up I won't have gotten those emails. My fault for staying this long. I should have fired her the 1st time she lied to me . Retainer was received 2/19 and 1st email was not sent out until 3/6 . She always had excuses. She would give me a date when it would be done. I would contact her asking if It was done yet and hear another excuse she would give me another day it would be done and nothing was done (except taking my MONEY) it's always about the MONEY. Here is the best part. Fired Jodi June 10, my new attorney requested my file she NEVER sent it. So being a "professional " he "CALLED" the opposing attorney (less then 24 hrs of being hired) something Jodi NEVER did in over 4 MONTHS. So by 11am on June 11 my new attorney had spoken with opposing attorney and the opposing attorney had an appointment with the appraiser for the next day. See what happens when you hire a lawyer who has the clients best interest in mind. The lawyer does his due diligence and gets things accomplished. He even called me. WOW Jodi never called me. If you want the name of a good lawyer who gets things done for the client and doesn't just take your MONEY and delay things to take more MONEY contact me. Listing me at the wrong address, listing my X at the wrong address even after I emailed the corrections and not publicity filing the financial information. The judge would not approve the financials. Then he required me initially to pay almost $1700.00 which was changed to $1300.00 to have the financials publicly filed which according to the judge should have been filed with the initial public filing . She told him "it's the law" and that he should have known! Let the buyer beware!
