    Sitting on Cecil Atkissin's lot in the hot summer sun while waiting for MOPAR to send my replacement driveshaft

    ADDING TO MY PREVIOUS REVIEW of approx two years ago below... In May of this year, 2024, I took my 2012 Grand Cherokee into Cecil Atkissin's service dept with 207,000 miles. It needed a new driveshaft, which is a covered part under my MOPAR Lifetime Warranty, which I purchased in 2012. Over the past few years their service dept has given me terrific service and has made multiple repairs under this warranty, saving me a lot of money. However, this time MOPAR approved the repair, but did not produce a MOPAR approved part for several months, and would not or could not even give me a date upon which I could expect the part to arrive for the repair. After over three months of not having my car available for my use, I asked Kristen Meredith, General Manager, to install a new aftermarket driveshaft, which I paid for and subsequently submitted to MOPAR for payment. They refused payment after multiple attempts to get my reimbursement, because I had them install an aftermarket driveshaft not approved by MOPAR. Out of total frustration I asked the dealership to get actively involved to help and they did!! Kristen Meredith and Tate Richburg got fully engaged and after a couple of weeks of aggressive action on their part, I am picking up my reimbursement for $2,104 on Monday. I so appreciate their going to bat for me. Great people and a great dealership to do business with!!!!!!!! PREVIOUS ReVIEW.....We recently moved to the area. I have a 2012 Grand Cherokee with 175k miles. My experience with the service department has been terrific. Jason is great and they are a very conscientious group. I highly recommend !!     Got in and out the same day whereas 2 other Jeep dealers in the surrounding area wanted to home on to my vehicle for 5-7 days.
