Jason assured me that any and all problems would be corrected at their expense and has failed to respond to calls and texts. Decking boards popping up (was not aware that the we're using nail gun instead of screws til too late), deck sloping wrong direction ( channels water toward house instead of away from house and off deck), many, many boards split by sloppy nailing at end of boards, many sloppy angled cuts appear free handed, railing not notched out at posts, posts extend above railing on steps (also railing is uneven), structural support (8x8) tied to the frame with 3/8" lag screws instead of galvanized bolts, stair stringer cut too short and instead of starting over with new boards they scabbed off of the short boards , did not install any flashing against home and basically left a mess upon completion. Bought a building (30x50) through this company in June of 2025. It took roughly 6 months for them…read moreto construct. During the construction phase concerns were brought up regarding pad height not matching pre-existing driveway as requested. Since I pulled the permit, they refuse to go back and fix the building/pad as "I am the contractor". Malletts inspector offered to make an easy fix (build a ramp and cement pour time) if I paid him and his concrete crew $1500 on the side. Still waiting for doors to be installed to complete this project. Would not recommend this company. Most positive reviews are due to a discount Mallett offers at contract time. EDIT: Follow up, doors have been delayed due to their employees being picked up by ICE.

I have used Ryan for several home projects, each one getting slightly more complex or intense, and…read morehe has nailed each one. It started with recurring lawn maintenance, where he was dependable and efficient. This eventually led to some tree care and limb removal and cleaning gutters, all done well. I had a house that was badly damaged since Laura and Delta; he first pointed me in the right direction for permits, and then he and his crew helped clean it out, demolish the bulk of it, and preserve one end of it that was salvageable. He lined up other trades when needed like electricians and carpenters, and overall made the experience easy and smooth. He has many connections with other trades and industries- through consulting and cooperation with friends in the waterfront bulkhead industry, he was able to rebuild a riverfront bulkhead for me as well that came out beautifully. The turnaround time and the craftsmanship have been amazing. Call Ryan and Helping Hands for your home needs- they can likely do it, and he will do it well.
