I am going to allow myself to rebut some of what they claim they do on their website.
* "We are passionate." Let me start with the definition of passion: An intense desire or enthusiasm for something. Believe me, the last thing I have experienced during my construction project is that the contractor is passionate about what he is doing. Examples of his lack of passion are delays, poor workmanship, lack of supervision over the subcontractors, really bad attitude towards the customer, poor communication skills, and terrible managerial skills. When you are passionate about something you want to thrive in what you do, and I don't think that failing six inspections for lack of supervision, control, respect for the county inspector, and in general lack of passion really reflects on what their portrait in the website.
* "Honest and Dependable" This statement couldn't be farther from reality. Let's take a look at the definitions of honesty and dependability. Honesty: Fairness and straightforwardness of conduct. Dependable: Capable of being trusted or depended on. Reality is that you cannot consider someone to be honest when they tell you something that never happens because technically that's a lie and lying contradicts the definition of honesty; in other words, when you lie you are not honest. Would you consider someone dependable when you have been told over ten times, verbally and in writing, that something is going to happen and it never happens? Friends, the last thing this organization as a whole represents is dependability; the contractor is full of excuses and never is accountable for anything, he always projects blame to others.
* "We are always improving." Improving means that you accept your mistakes, are accountable for them, and then you find a way for those things never to happen again. Well, once you fail six framing inspections in a row for almost the same reasons every single time, including one day that didn't show up for the inspection, is not very accurate to say that the company is always improving.
To make a long story short, if you don't want to have a terrible experience while working on a home project, please stay away from this company. read more
