There were so many local vendors from all across the South Bay, Monterey, and Salinas areas selling fresh fruits and vegetables of all varieties. So many spots had free samples of their fruits which was my favorite part. As one person kept shouting, "you get more samples here than Costco!" and they weren't kidding. After all the organic goods, there was a great selection of bakeries and food trucks also selling different items from Chinese dumplings to Mediterranean spreads. I was happy to see so many vegan friendly options too from my walk throughout the market. We were even gifted with live music from a guitarist. Even during its peak times, there wasn't a huge crowd that prevented you from moving back and forth between the shops. I thoroughly enjoyed the vibes and look forward to stopping by again.

We had to drive around a bit to find a spot but it didn't take long.(All the spots seem to be for compact cars,it's really tight parking) This market has a nice mix of produce and food. Also plenty of made food. I saw at least 3 fresh meat and fish vendors. Also some unique specific vendors,(mushrooms ,olives, heirloom tomatoes) We got there around 1130am so it was pretty crowded. If you like them sweet, get the orange yellow ones. They are sweeter than the red ones normally. They also have different products like cheese, eggs, nuts and local honey. If you like kombucha, try boochman. They have interesting flavors. If you like burgers try Hawaiian burger place that also sell BBQ chicken. Their chicken is pretty good I like them a lot but they also give you a lot of rice too so I can't finish half of it normally. But then they have Indian curry place that's in front of the chicken place so get the curry to go and I have that with the left over rice later. Every Sunday 9am to 1pm. Plenty of free parking but they get busy so get there early like right before 9. Or come very late so that you might get leftover didn't sell stuff for free or cheap. Check out the bread place when they are closing up. You might get some bread or pies that they didn't sell. Music, singing and dancing going on in the afternoon and get really crowded so I would go there first thing in the morning.

It's great to pick up the seasonal vegetables and know that you are supporting a small business. It's best to arrive early, because parking can get challenging and the good seasonal veggies go fast. The vendors are friendly and helpful and even give you suggestions on how a vegetable should be cooked if you ask! They also have a baked goods stall with a variety of bakery products and another selling hummus and chips. There are other ready to eat stalls as well, which I haven't tried. The compact size of this market makes it great to pop in & out quickly for produce!

My favorite vendors are Hummus Heaven, Fungi farms mushrooms and Donna's tamales. They also sell wonderful Asian vegetables and tons of delicious fruit. They only have one flower vendor with beautiful flowers at an affordable price. Best part is they are very generous with their samples so I always leave here full. Most vendors accept Apple Pay and credit cards. Every Tuesday and Saturday rain or shine. Parking can be challenging on Saturday.

In the tent, there were two kinds: one in a plastic bag and one without. I chose 6 pcs. But the lady in the tent said $5 for only 5 pieces. I asked why the price is different?. She explained: the plastic bags are already set - 5 big pcs $5, 6 medium pcs $5, or 7 small pcs $5. I'm the Owner she said. Then she told the kiosk lady very rudely, "You can't give 6 pieces if the customer chooses." Please be careful if you go.

It was so good that I went back for more. The staff member was incredibly friendly and even offered me an extra empanada for free. I chose the beef flavor, and it did not disappoint. It was well-seasoned, flavorful, and generously filled. I also loved browsing the flower booths. The flowers were colorful and beautiful, with plenty of selections. Unfortunately, I arrived late and all of the potted plants had already sold out.
